It's not about catering to the lowest rung. If LDragonFire thinks what you said is waking up I have news for you.

1. Laws and the legal system are to protect the rich from the poor
2. Our system, some ignorantly call it "capitalism" or "free market," is designed to suck as much money out of the poor and middle class as possible (a corporate welfare state)
3. Because the police enforce laws they are there to "server and protect (the rich from the poor)", those words need to be added to more accurately complete that phrase
4. Most importantly, the vast majority of lemmings have bought into the idea of government fixing problems which is more accurately depicted in this video clip:


Americans have been willingly giving up their freedom and rights for what they think is protection. They then regurgitate the "Yay, America!" and "Land of the free, home of the brave" bulls#!t like good little lemmings. They have been fed and bought into the belief that they need government. It's really a human problem, and it's on the verge of changing.

There is more to this problem but it's for another post really.
