Unless she wrote zeros to the entire disk array on that server, there should be something recoverable.
Even if the drive was low-level formatted (write 0s to all including track 0) they can be recovered .Even the DOD wipe can be recovered. Just takes time
Ah something I didn't know. Thanks.

Even in some of those cases , data recovery can be done. Not everything , but a portion.
Data recovery (especially the government agencies) has came a long way since the 90s

Whoever she was emailing surely knew that it was out of the SOP to use personal accounts for that classified material.
So who is it gonna be that blows her in. We should start an official ATS poll for this.
Inside of where?

CLINTON CAMPAIGN SAYS EMAIL SERVER TO GO TO JUSTICE DEPT
BY KEN DILANIAN
AP INTELLIGENCE WRITER
The Clinton Campaign
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A spokesman for Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign says she has directed that the personal email server she used while serving as secretary of state be given to the Justice Department.
Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said Tuesday she has also directed her team to turn over a thumb drive containing copies of emails sent to and from a personal email address via that server to the Justice Department.
A U.S. official briefed on the matter who was not authorized to speak publicly says that Clinton's lawyer, David Kendall, turned over three thumb drives after the FBI determined he couldn't remain in possession of classified information contained in some of the emails.
The State Department has previously said it was comfortable with Kendall keeping the emails at his Washington law office.

The FBI has taken possession of thumb drives containing Hillary Clinton's emails, some of which have been deemed to contain highly sensitive classified information, according to a U.S. official briefed on the matter.
The official was not authorized to be quoted publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.
