Ok, so, my manuscript is finished, and I', m searching for publishing outlets. Unfortunatly, I'm likely to find a straight jacket sooner than a publisher. Anybody else havin' one of THOSE days ? This one feels like 6 pints, and 4 of em rum...

YES! Definately having one of those days...
Just got back from the mall with the kids and I swear I don't even remember driving there...

Good luck on the publisher hunt and congrats on completion!

If you DO find a straight jacket and don't happen to need it long....LOL

Yup.

My sympathies on the whole mall thing...I've seen those days on both sides, herding neices and nephews, AND working janitorial..

Thanks for the well wishes, and have a nice 'un.

I have often thought about writing a novel or novella of some sort but have always been scared of rejection of all publishers, I get discouraged easily, its one of my major faults.
What would you do if that happened, would you try again or give up? Also what is your motivation for writing and have you ever been published before?

What an adventure it's been, too. I hope we can find something to get this published. It's been a lot of work.

Had a short spin off rejected by the Writer of the Harry Potter Series...kept it though as a role gaming scenario based in the US. Nicest rejection slip I ever got. Got right back up, worked 10 more years, and my new book is finished...with a cabin building tossed in there somewhere.
If it's a work of your heart, no one 's rejection can take YOUR accomplishment from you. Do It for yourself, and take pride in it.
Love n Luck on that one.

P.S.
Even if it is rejected...it got your name out there...next time, they'll be lookin'..so it's STILL a positive.

Way to have a good attitude, I wish I was as optimistic as you.

I hope I see your book on the shelves one day, I wish good fortune on you.

*chuckle. mental image of a Gorillia suit, in a mall, with bannanna bunches strung on bandolieers, ans a sling shot*
Positive attitude begins with yourself. Are ya breathing ? Yes? Then you can do this, if for nothing else, for the fun of it.
We gots confidence in ya. "Ger er done!"

Oopsie. Looks like that's a private doc, as in it's not public so nobody but you can see it.

We worked on fleshing out the next book today. It's looking good. Between him narrating and me typing and making coffee we should hopefully be at the end within the year.

You're not kidding. The good thing is we both like it the same strength: The spoon stands up in it and just the smell makes you want to boogie.
