Not really, just seemed like an awfully inefficient way to find legal guidance.

Best bet would be a lawyer. Even just google free legal advice in your area. There are services that grant you a free 30 minute session to meet with a crim. laywer and go over the case. This also gives you a chance to see if the lawyer is a good fit for the case.
Always remember, you are paying the lawyer. They are working for you. If you dont like, or get the feeling they are not putting their full effort into the case, fire them and find a new one.
