What Happens When You're Banned From ATS??

I heard that the secret ATS ninja crew comes around your house kills your dog or cat then they use HAARP to mess up your garden and either sell you for lizard food or your brain gets wiped and replaced with a Justin Beiber (tm) loving mind.

I know it's not to me but.. I have seen accounts Banned and Other accounts made and say they were they other from the other account, then watched as that account slow drift off into the nothing.

Yes, people have been banned and used the "Contact ATS" link to successfully ask for a second chance.

I think I have been banned twice or maybe just the once and I had a couple of months off and wrote to the mods sayng sorry and I will be a good monkey.

Close. You would use the contact email address and speak with Springer or SO. At that point it is an owner/admin call for restoring a banned account. A full ban is a rare accident but can happen. A post ban on accident is more likely and I will say I have done it before while trying to give an applause. A few times, in fact.

What you are saying makes sense, but I have seen quite a bit of members banned during my time here. The little tilde symbol "~" indicates a permanent ban, that's when we know we will never see that poster post on ATS again, at least with the handle we all knew them by.

I've had post bans before, ones I am not proud of, but obviously I've never been perma-banned, otherwise I wouldn't still be here. I've never heard of accidental post bannings, but that's kinda funny when I start to think about it.

I have saw allot of people get the ban hammer in my time bouncing around the forums . But I think the only person that I would really be devastated to see get ban is Phage and my self of course .

Well, I'm sure if you knew me well enough, you'd be bummed to see me perma- banned too.

Edit: But yeah, Phage is pretty awesome too, I too wouldn't wish to see someone of his caliber be banned..permanently..

I was banned a while ago, it was weird, i just could not login,, so i kept a leap year, and all of the sudden, things started to work again,, so yeay!
