The Real Mayan Long Count End Date? June 3rd, 2016

August 11th, 3114 BC (Gregorian) = Sept 6th, 3114 BC (Julian)

and the end of the Mayan Long Count or the 13 baktuns which are 144,000 days each =

Dec. 21st, 2012 (Gregorian) = Dec 8th, 2012 (Julian)

Both the Gregorian and Julian calendars account for leap years. That is why the Gregorian is 365.2425 solar year and the Julian calendar is 365.25 solar year. That means, every 4 years or .25 + .25 +.25 +.25 = 1 leap year.

But the Mayan calendar didn't account for leap years. It had the solar Haab calendar, which was 365 solar days.

The baktun is 144,000 days.

There are 13 baktuns in the Mayan Calendar.

144,000 days x 13 baktuns = 1,872,000 solar days

Now the Gregorian calendar solar year is 365.2425

The Julian calendar solar year is 365.25

The Haab Mayan calendar solar year is 365

1,872,000 days/365.2425 (Gregorian solar year) = 5125.36 years

1,872,000 days/365.25 (Julian solar year) = 5125.256 years

and then here is the big difference....

1,872,000 days/365 (Haab solar year) = 5128.76 years

Subtract 5128.76 years (Haab) from 5125.256 years (Julian) =

READY........

=3.504 year difference and that makes 1260 days

So we can clearly see that the Mayan researchers got the end date wrong.

What they did was they overlapped the Western Gregorian calendar solar year (365.2425) to the Long Count Calendar and completely threw out the TRUE Mayan solar year of 365 days (Haab calendar).

It is completely throwing out the baby with the bath water.

Yes, Dec. 21st, 2012 is correct using the Gregorian calendar but the TRUE Mayan Long Count end date using the correct Haab 365 solar year is June 3rd/4th, 2016 and that is clearly what we should be focusing on.

i know nothing about this subject but find it very interesting.
my question is this, how do we know that the end of the calender signifies something big?
how do we know they just didnt stop making it because they figured there was enough?
maybe they got bored or something else happened. not trying to sound silly..just curious.

Three hundred years ago if someone had suggested the Jews would ever become a nation again with Jerusalem as the capital, they would have been considered more than a little loony, but this is exactly what Isaac Newton said would happen. Now it is obvious that this is precisely what occurred on June 5th 1967; indicating the 49 years before Jesus would return expires on June 5th 2016. The year 2016 follows the Sabbatical year 2015 which is necessary before the year of Jubilee. This is also true of 1967 which follows the Sabbatical year 1966. Newton predicted this saying the 49 years would fall in line with the Jewish Sabbatical cycle, and that the starting year 1967 would qualify as a Jubilee by virtue of the momentous events occurring at Jerusalem. Interesting isn't it that the Mayan Haab calendar with the Long Count calendar comes to completion on June 3rd/4th, 2016, and it correlates with the Isaac Newton time code? And not only date but there is a rare mutable grand cross planetary alignment during this time as well.

The date Dec 21, 2012 is a total farce. They applied 5200 years of 360 days per year on top of the 365.25 day solar year which reduced the total year count to 5125 solar years. The PTB then counted back that many years to set a false start day of the Mayan Calendar. The knew the true end date to set a false start date to justify an incomplete end date.

First we need to recognize that the Gregorian calendar erased 2 years of history in 1582 AD. You can verify this by tracking the lunar metonic cycles before and after 1582 AD. You will find that 2 years are missing.

Then you need to expand the 5200 years from 5125 years by adding in 5.25 days for every 360 days.

My theory is that for every 144,000 days, a 2,100 day intercalary period must added. Then after the 13 katuns are finished (13×20×360) at 93,600 days, you end up at Dec 21, 2012. From that date, you factor in 5.25 days per year (13×20×5.25), which is 1,365 days (see Num 3:50). Your end result will be September 16, 2016 on the Paleo-Hebrew Feast of Trumpets exactly 6,124 years after the fall of Adam.

So intercalated, the 5,250 year cycle starts with the birth of Lamech (874 years after Adam's fall), and ends on Sept 16, 2016.

If you intercalate periodically, exluding the final 13-katun-intercalation, you reach December 21, 2012.

If you dont intercalate at all (5,250 years of 360 days), you get Oct 22, 1948.

I use 5250 years because its the biblical cycle of 105 jubilees, and is related to the extra 5.25 days of the solar year.

In my opinion, the Mayan Calendar is a derivative of the true biblical calendar which is solar, not lunisolar. It probably made its way to Mesoamerica via the Phoenicians who helped build Solomon's temple.

Wow!!! Your end date of June 3, 2016 is just 105 days before my end date of Sept 16, 2016.

All of my calculations revolve around multiples of 105. This cant be coincidence.

105 is 49+7+49.

Biblical history is divided up into cycles of 490+70+490 years according to the pattern hidden in the syllable metering of the Hebrew and Greek bible.

So 490+70+490 is 1050 years. (105×10)

And a full great cycles of 5250 years is 105×50 years (Jubilees) or 1050×5.

The time between 12/21/2012 and 9/16/2016 is 1365 days or 13×105.

I keep seeing 105 everywhere.

What? Why the hell weren't the Mayan researchers using the MAYAN calendar year? Seems like a pretty crucial and integral detail. Why on Earth would the Mayans be using Gregorian calendars, something they didn't know existed, to calculate their end date?

Silly me. Your counting 1,260 days from 12/21/2012 and I'm counting 1,365 days. That accounts for the 105 day difference.
