Anybody else getting tired of accidently clicking the DENY IGNORANCE twitter link?

I can sit down and browse ATS for a couple hours and by the time I'm done I've got 5 or 6 tabs of ATS's twitter page open. I can't be the only one. For me it usually just happens when scrolling. There appears to be more than enough room to boarder the margin with a small unlinked strip. Just a gripe and a suggestion. Thanks.

I'd hazard a guess that the placing of the link is quite deliberate. May be a little encouragement to go visit the ATS Twitter page. Do numbers of visits account for anything on Twitter?

Well I guess it is only supporting ATS at the end of the day so it is tolerable, but a little annoying.

Oh I see it now - generally have my browser slimmer than most sites, as like here, most have the info in the middle and all the crappy ads/banners etc down the sides.

So no I have never clicked it.

Ok have now and it just takes you to the login page ( I assume if you have a twitter account and are signed in, it takes you straight there?)

Just don't click it and problem solved.

I have my browser on 125% zoom so I am prime game for this little trick, lol.

Strange, I don't have twitter either and I go straight to their page. Jesse Ventura advertises his shows there a lot and the other stuff is ATS advertising its broadcasts. No member activity there. Doesn't really do the real ATS representative justice.

It happens as you are scrolling down and your pointer drifts slightly off the scroll. Remember as soon as the pointer hits a link just a slight off and on movement of the finger with the pointer having drifted off the scroll means the link is activated. Before ya know it you are suddenly in the good old land of Twitter.

May I take this opportunity BM to apologise profusely. I was rude to you in a comment and it was unwarranted some time ago. I actually really have much respect for you as a member. You take good care, Mister.

I do not know if this will help but ...

Push the control button while using the mouse wheel. I have mine set so I just can't see the edges at all.

I have poor vision and this helps a lot. Then as a bonus, I never have the sort of problems you are referring to.

Are you talking about the side banners? I just zoom my browser in for this site til they are gone.

Small price to pay for such a wonderful site I say .

I'm sure that as with many new (for me) things here at ATS, there is a reason for the

Twitter banners on either side of the ATS screen. I understand the necessity of all

the ads, ATS has become huge, and there are costs associate with maintaining it.

Myself, I don't have much use for Twitter either, so I just don't click there.

I voluntarily click on it most days, although I don't know why I bother because the admin of the Twitter account is pretty poor, most recent tweet was 26th July.

I don't post much here, but as a reader, I just wanted to say that the amount of adverts, banners and pop ups on this site is a joke. It's virtually impossible to navigate on Ipad without hitting an advert or a banner infringing on something your trying to read. Its frankly, a cluster f**k. Whoever designed this site is either very desperate for advertising money or has no idea how to build a decent website. Sort it out!
