“What about others?” you might object. “They ask about my feelings constantly. Surely my feelings matter to them.” Well if they are sincere, they seem to care about your feelings, granted, but really, they are furtively caring about their own. They ask about your feelings, not only because they might desire to know them (and in so doing, satiating that desire), and not only because such a conversation provides them with a medley of their own feelings, but because they want their feelings to matter as well, and by making your own feelings seem important or worthy of their attention, they indirectly glorify their own.

My feelings generally don't matter, but certain peoples feelings matter to me. I don't like to upset people. I don't like seeing my family upset especially my parents and brother. So whereas my feelings might not matter there are people's feelings that matter to me.
A convincing illusion for you, is that everyone is powerless and reality is automatic. In Reality there is Light, Joy, and Abundance, there are always more and more blessings even if you don't realize it.

While your persistence is admirable, your perspective is not. We are all hopelessly trying to convince the other that we are right, and there is no way out of the dilemma unless one concedes to the other. I have a prediction. It's not going to happen.
For me it's a simple question with a more complex answer - what controls the body?
when "I" (there's that pesky subjective self dude again) decide to control my body (the object[ive]) in any manner- be it conjuring specific memories, raising my hand, typing this key board etc etc... What is the "I" there?
Of course there's a trillion things going on with my body automatically, i.e outside of "my" conscious control... Where is this delineation? And why? Could this feeling of "me", my self, my identity been in any other body?
Not too much hopelessness, for those who run up the mountain, or in some make it upwards, their memories come back, just enough. And some of us are waiting with purpose here.
Your mind is very powerful, don't give into darth vader or lower mind. ie body/reactions, or lose joy and emotion, but work for the full brain experience. Nature, bird song, binaurals, meditation and good comedies.
Why does a world turn away from this age old story of God and spirit and positive forces and inner-sparks governing the dumb, dead, lifeless matter?
