1000 Musicians Play Foo Fighters’ ‘LEARN TO FLY’ at the SAME Time!

That’s 1000 die-hard Foo Fighters fans singing/shredding/drumming their hearts out for one common goal: So that the Foo Fighters will come and play a show for them in Italy.

Created by Fabio Zaffagnini, Rockin’ 1000 intends to entice Dave Grohl and the Foos to come to Italy and put on a show in the northern Italian city of Cesena. In the works for almost a year, their crowd-funding video/call to action can be seen below.

It's cool that so many people came out to take part in a musical event of this sort.

That being said, Grohl as a guitarist just aggravates me on every level, and I hope he gives it up in favour of getting back where he damn well belongs, which is behind a drum kit.

im not a huge fan of grohl as a musician in general but he seems like he is cool as #. funny dude.
i prefer him on the guitar though. probably cause i am a guitar player.
just not into his music though....

would love to hang out with him though.

I like a few songs of theirs, and saw them live in NYC. But honestly, I think they are one of the most overrated bands.

I don't remember it either, after seeing the movie 3 times or so, but it's so contrary to the actual product of people coming together that it's ludicrous to compare or even put it in the same thread.

Pretty cool that they got so many people all to play the same song. It's a shame it was a Foo Fighters song, though.
