Like it matters if D.C. sinks at some point. Remember this term: "Continuity of Operations". There are numerous Federal buildings throughout the
country, and if something happens in D.C., whether natural disaster, or attack, the government keeps on running through established "Continuity of
Operations" plans for each agency.
And of course if one was to waste one's time praying for bad things to happen to other people, God isn't answering those prayers except to note in his
magic book of deeds that the person praying out of spite is a fairly crappy human being to wish for harm to others.
You do realize that our first link actually disputes the authenticity of the miraculously regenerating leg don't you? It points out the flaws in the
story and provides alternate explanations that are far more plausible than "woke up one day with a brand new leg". I find it interesting that God gave
him a new leg but with a scar from the accident that broke it and allegedly led to its amputation as well as other prexisting scars let alone how he
survived 7 weeks with a gangrenous limb that didn't kill him and only required amputation below the knee. That alone would qualify as a divine
miracle.
