I may have information and an update...in a recent news article I found it said that there was a family in Palm Springs Florida that an agent took a certain interest to me did not know why. He told the FBI and they told him to get a life. The facts I heard was the the agent said the family left Florida two weeks before 911 happened and that there was evidence at their home that proved Saudi Arabia financed the entire project and that the family was involved. Now I have been trying to do more research on this. Anyone hear or read the same thing or anything similar?

Aluminum and the World Trade Center Disaster

By far the largest source of aluminum at the WTC was the exterior cladding on WTC 1 & 2. In quantitative terms it may be estimated that 2,000,000 kg of anodized 0.09 aluminum sheet was used, in the form of 43,600 panels, to cover the facade of each Twin Tower.

(i) The other major source of aluminum at the WTC was the aluminum alloy airframes of the Boeing 767 aircraft that crashed into the Twin Towers on the morning of 9-11.

It may be estimated that, on impact, these aircraft weighed about 124,000 kg including fuel; of this weight, 46,000 kg comprised the fuselage and 21,000 kg made up the mass of the wings – all of which were fabricated from aluminum alloys. Modern airframes are invariably constructed from series 2000 aluminum alloys.

Alloy 2024 is a typical example containing 93 % Al, 4.5 % Cu, 1.5 % Mg, and 0.5 % each of Mn and Fe. These metallic additions to aluminum lower the melting point of the alloy from a value of 660 C, for pure aluminum, to about 548  C for alloy 2024. This relatively low temperature indicates that the fires within the Twin Towers were quite capable of melting at least some of the Boeing 767 aluminum airframe structures remaining in the WTC before its collapse.

But is there any direct evidence for the presence of molten aluminum at the WTC site on 9-11? The answer to this question is an emphatic: “Yes!” The formation of molten aluminum in WTC 2 just prior to its collapse was discussed in the well known FEMA and NIST Reports on the performance of the WTC buildings during 9-11. Here are the pertinent references:
FEMA: World Trade Center Building Performance Study, Chapter 2, Section 2.2.2.3, page 34:

“Just prior to the collapse (of WTC 2), a stream of molten metal- possibly aluminum from the airliner – was seen streaming out of a window opening at the northeast corner (near the 80th floor level).”

NIST: Progress Report on the Federal Building and Fire Safety Investigation of the World Trade Center Disaster, Volume 4, Appendix H, Section H.9, page 43:

“Starting around 9:52 a.m., a molten material began to pour from the top of window 80-256 on the north face of WTC 2. The material appears intermittently until the tower collapses at 9:58:59 a.m. The observation of piles of debris in this area combined with the melting point behaviors of the primary alloys used in a Boeing 767 suggest that the material is molten aluminum derived from aircraft debris located on floor 81.”

FAQ#13: Who was Responsible for the Controlled Demolition of the WTC Skyscrapers?

So who committed the crimes of 9/11? Does the evidence still point to al Qaeda as claimed in the official story? They find it hard to believe that there are Americans who would do such things, and even if there were, how their actions could have escaped detection, since events of this complexity would have required a significant number of collaborators, any of whom might have spoken out or confessed. Two More Calls to C-SPAN…Two More Members of Congress…

Representatives Express Willingness to Look at the Evidence

For several months supporters of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth have been dialing into C-SPAN's morning call-in show, Washington Journal, to confront members of Congress, the media, and others with the scientific evidence proving that pre-planted explosives brought down the Twin Towers and World Trade Center Building 7 on 9/11. Some callers have implored legislators to support a new investigation into the complete, rapid destruction of all three modern steel skyscrapers.

On October 20, 2013, Diana Degette, (D-CO), appeared as a guest on the morning show. Questioning Congress's credibility, a caller asked:

"My question is concerning credibility of Congress in all of this. What credibility does Congress have left to govern with when basic physics have already proven that Building 7, World Trade Center 7, was brought down by explosives on 9/11, and the majority of Congressmen are willingly ignorant of this fact or can only offer rehearsed outrage in response to direct questions about this evidence?"

Degette replied:

"I think Congress's credibility has suffered quite a bit in recent weeks with the shutdown of the government and one thing that we can do about the issues you've raised, and all of the other issues... We can start working together to, for example, make the Affordable Care Act work [sic], and if there's allegations around the World Trade Center, to investigate those fully, and people really need to start working together...for the good of the country. I really believe that.”

An even more positive response came from Congressman Charles Dent (R-PA) on November 13, when a caller asked him the equally insightful following question:

"...I'm very much interested in this issue. I served on the Homeland Security Committee. I will be happy to look at the issues surrounding Building 7. We certainly saw the North and South tower go down shortly after the strike. I would be happy to take a look at the Building 7 issue. I am very much concerned about what's happened on 9/11. We're all deeply affected by it, and I would be happy to look at the Building 7 issue further."

Dent's positive response was one of the most forthcoming so far of any member of Congress who has been questioned publicly about the issue.

August 29, 2001: Three men from either Pakistan or Afghanistan living in the Cayman Islands are briefly arrested in June 2001 for discussing hijacking attacks in New York City (see June 4, 2001). On this day, a Cayman Islands radio station receives an unsigned letter claiming these same three men are agents of bin Laden. The anonymous author warns that they "are organizing a major terrorist act against the US via an airline or airlines." The letter is forwarded to a Cayman government official but no action is taken until after 9/11 and it isn't known when the US is informed. Many criminals and/or businesses use the Cayman Islands as a safe, no tax, no questions asked haven to keep their money. The author of the letter meets with the FBI shortly after 9/11, and claims his information was a "premonition of sorts." The three men are later arrested. EGYPT, WARNING #1: An undercover agent learns 20 al-Qaeda agents are in the US, four have received flight training

Late July 2001 (D): CBS later has a brief mention in a long story on another topic: "Just days after Atta return[s] to the US from Spain, Egyptian intelligence in Cairo says it received a report from one of its operatives in Afghanistan that 20 al-Qaeda members had slipped into the US and four of them had received flight training on Cessnas. To the Egyptians, pilots of small planes didn't sound terribly alarming, but they [pass] on the message to the CIA anyway, fully expecting Washington to request information. The request never [comes]." [CBS, 10/9/02] This appears to be one of several accurate Egyptian warnings based on informants (see June 13, 2001 and August 30, 2001). Could Egypt have known the names of some or all of the hijackers? Given FBI agent Ken Williams' memo about flight schools a short time before (see July 10, 2001), shouldn't the US have investigated this closely instead of completely ignoring it?

High School Physics Teacher Corrects NIST

Incredibly, NIST took its analysis of the destruction of the North Tower (WTC 1) only to the point in time when the building started to collapse. The visual evidence therefore was omitted from their analysis and Final Report. Yet it reveals the most critical features of the tower's explosive destruction that can clearly be seen by anyone. Chandler shows in the video North Tower Exploding a series of widespread, continuous, explosive ejections of material occurring on multiple floors at once. Individual steel frame members weighing many tons are ejected horizontally, some at speeds exceeding 70 mph. Some steel members traveled horizontal distances of 600 feet. Others embedded themselves in the walls of neighboring buildings.
The top section of the building, above the airplane impact point, is what NIST claimed crushed the rest of the building to the ground. But the top section is seen being destroyed in the first 4 seconds. And after that there is no visual evidence of anything crushing the building. The building is seen tearing itself apart - and, as Chandler documents in his next video, at an incredible rate approaching free-fall.

Downward Acceleration of the North Tower
Chandler clearly demonstrates in “Downward Acceleration of the North Tower” on his website that the top section of the North Tower (WTC 1) accelerated down at a constant rate which equaled about 2/3 of free-fall.
Using basic physics he notes that the fact that the top section continued to accelerate downward proves that the top section was not exerting enough force to destroy the lower section of the building. Rather, it was the destruction of the lower section by other means that allowed the top section to continue to accelerate. This is again strong evidence for the use of explosives.
Be sure to see the rest of these excellent videos, including Cutter Charges in the North Tower of the World Trade Center, which shows how Chandler was able to link two “puffs” to an actual column being cut. These are striking examples which use high school physics to provide a devastating challenge to the official conspiracy theory. Al-Qaeda 'Declaration of War' against the United States

Al-Qaeda: Declarations & Acts of War

Al-Qaeda declared war on the United States and its allies two times before the attacks on September 11, 2001. Those two declarations came in the form of fatwas, a type of Islamic religious decree.

The First Fatwa

In August of 1996, Osama bin Laden issued his first fatwa, a 30-page polemic entitled "Declaration of War Against the Americans Occupying the Land of the Two Holy Places," against the United States and Israel, and it was published in a London newspaper called Al Quds al Arabi.

The central premise of this fatwa is that "the people of Islam had suffered from aggression, iniquity, and injustice imposed on them by the Zionist-Crusaders alliance and their collaborators." He chronicles the various "injustices" and concludes that, "It is no longer possible to be quiet. It is not acceptable to give a blind eye to this matter."

Bin Laden says that there is "no more important duty than pushing the American enemy out of the holy land,"and he calls on his Muslim brothers to concentrate on "destroying, fighting and killing the enemy until, by the Grace of Allah, it is completely defeated." He warns fellow Jihadists that, due to "the imbalance of power between our armed forces and the enemy forces, a suitable means of fighting must be adopted i.e. using fast moving light forces that work under complete secrecy."

At the end of the fatwa, Osama bin Laden urges all Muslim brothers to "take part in fighting against the enemy -- your enemy and their enemy -- the Americans and the Israelis. They are asking you to do whatever you can, with one's own means and ability, to expel the enemy, humiliated and defeated, out of the sanctities of Islam."

The Second Fatwa

The second fatwa was published on February 23, 1998, in Al Quds al Arabi. Unlike the first fatwa, which was issued by Osama bin Laden alone, this fatwa was signed by Osama bin Laden; Ayman al-Zawahiri, leader of Jihad group in Egypt and al Qaeda second-in-command; Abu-Yasir Rafa'l Ahmad Taha, leader of the Islamic Group; Sheikh Mir Hamzah, secretary of the Jumiat-ut-Ulema-e-Pakistan; and Fazlul Rahman, leader of the Jihad Movement in Bangladesh.

The fatwa reasons that "three facts that are known to everyone" compel war against the United States. First, the United States has been "occupying the lands of Islam in the holiest of places." Second, the "crusader-Zionist alliance" has inflicted great devastation upon the Iraqi people. Third, the United States' goal is "to serve the Jews' petty state and divert attention from its occupation of Jerusalem and murder of Muslims there.

"It concludes with instructions to Muslims everywhere:

The ruling to kill the Americans and their allies -- civilians and military -- is an individual duty for every Muslim who can do it in any country in which it is possible to do it.... [E]very Muslim who believes in God and wishes to be rewarded to comply with God's order to kill the Americans and plunder their money wherever and whenever they find it.

The BYU physics department has also issued a statement: "The university is aware that Professor Steven Jones' hypotheses and interpretations of evidence regarding the collapse of World Trade Center buildings are being questioned by a number of scholars and practitioners, including many of BYU's own faculty members.

Professor Jones' department and college administrators are not convinced that his analyses and hypotheses have been submitted to relevant scientific venues that would ensure rigorous technical peer review."

The College of Engineering and Technology department has also added, "The structural engineering faculty in the Fulton College of Engineering and Technology do not support the hypotheses of Professor Jones."

Evidence Destroyed is Justice Denied

Explosive Evidence Ignored

NIST ignored clear evidence of explosives and incendiaries in the destruction of all three high-rises. NIST excluded anything that happened after the so-called point of collapse initiation from the Twin Towers investigation despite that one of their stated “objectives” was to determine “how WTC 1 and WTC 2 collapsed.”

Hundreds of first responders and others on the scene reported hearing explosions – yet NIST ignored them. More than 100 of these reports were recorded by orders of Fire Commissioner Thomas Von Essen in October of 2001, but the City of New York withheld this key evidence until forced by the New York State Court of Appeals to release it in August 2005.

NFPA 921 calls for the consideration of the possibility of exotic accelerants or explosives when “pulverized concrete”, “high order damage”, and “lateral ejection of building elements” are found. Pulverized concrete covered all of lower Manhattan and comprised up to 30% of the WTC dust. The Twin Towers were completely destroyed down to their individual structural elements, and ejected as far as 600 feet.

NFPA 921 states that accelerants should be investigated in any fire crime scene and that molten steel may indicate the use of thermite, an incendiary and accelerant. Yet NIST did not look for thermite. Since then, however, independent scientists have found a high-tech version of thermite, known as nanothermite, in dust samples collected from the WTC site.Previously molten iron micro-spheres had already been found in the WTC dust by USGS researchers and environmental engineers, further indicating high temperatures associated with the use of thermite.

Molten Metal and High-Temperature Phenomena Ignored

More than two dozen eyewitnesses have reported seeing molten steel in the basements of all three WTC high-rises. This is confirmed by photos and verified by infrared satellite images indicating extremely high temperatures. Yet John Gross, Lead Engineer for NIST, denies even having heard any reports of molten metal at Ground Zero.
NIST stated in 2007 on its website to have the “vision to lead the world in methods of measurement and prediction of the behavior of fire and its effects.” Conspicuously, NIST never has shown any interest in investigating the unusual, allegedly fire-related, high temperature phenomena in the WTC collapse piles.
A Cover-up?

It is clear that the actions by NYC/Port Authority officials, FEMA managers, and NIST engineers relative to the collection, preservation, and analysis of the evidence of this monumental crime looks more like a cover-up than an investigation. After reading in the Daily Herald the presentations made by Professor Steven E. Jones (BYU Physics) to students at UVSC and BYU, I feel obligated to reply to his "Conspiracy Theory" relating to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center (9/11/01).

I have studied the summary of the report by FEMA, The American Society of Civil Engineers and several other professional engineering organizations. These experts have given in detail the effects on the Towers by the impact of the commercial aircraft. I have also read Professor Jones' (referred to) 42 page unpublished report. In my understanding of structural design and the properties of structural steel I find Professor Jones' thesis that planted explosives (rather than fire from the planes) caused the collapse of the Towers, very unreliable.

The structural design of the towers was unique in that the supporting steel structure consisted of closely spaced columns in the walls of all four sides. The resulting structure was similar to a tube. When the aircraft impacted the towers at speeds of about 500 plus mph, many steel columns were immediately severed and others rendered weak by the following fires. The fires critically damaged the floors systems. Structural steel will begin to lose strength when heated to temperatures above 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Steel bridge girders are bent to conform to the curved roadway by spot heating flanges between 800 and 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. It is easy to comprehend the loss of carrying capacity of all the structural steel due to the raging fires fed by the jet's fuel as well as aircraft and building contents.

Before one (especially students) supports such a conspiracy theory, they should investigate all details of the theory. To me a practicing structural engineer of 57 continuous years (1941-1998), Professor Jones' presentations are very disturbing.
