Exactly how I feel all day, every day of my life.. I had to cut certain people out of my life because of the pure ignorance to what is really happening. You try and talk about current events happening in the world and why there happening and people are quick to change subjects or not even try and understand what you are saying.. I'm at a point where there's no helping others, I'm here to protect my family and that's it.

Think of it this way they know but do nothing? Means they're acting on a decision which has been made for them complacency. They know how wrong it is and what it entails for their future, but they still do nothing read my earlier post.

Even if people did wake up, we are doomed anyway. Look around you, see all the crap that is everywhere, see how much hold the people at the top have on us, there is too much for it to just disappear and we all live happily ever after.

Our civilisation will eventually be wiped out like all the other ones and a new one will emerge.
Maybe they will do things differently...or it will just repeat.
Rinse and repeat, always repeat.

NOT more government that's for sure. Wouldn't it be nice if senators had term limits? No more intrenched cults of personality.

I also think we need to remove any special powers on every branch.

I know right, I mean serious crime rates are going down, people can marry whoever they want, and we're out looking for Earth 2.0 just so we can have a chance of continuing on this miserable existence for another billion more years.

Well looking at our history things have been much much worse and nothing happened. What exactly do you think is going on today that has not been going on through all of human history? Political corruption today has nothing on what went on the as late as the 1920s. You feel oppressed by the government today go to the earliest days of the nation until after WW1 when sedition laws were in place. We also have in our past, slavery, forced movement of indigenous peoples, and WW2 interment camps for people who happen to be of Japanese ancestry. And imagine the Cold War and blacklists and The House Un-American Activities Committee (of which existed in some form from 1919 until 1975. You could be tried for what you said, owning certain books or even flags, or for knowing somebody who did. And if you dared speak up and say this against the Constitution you were then flagged as a communist and enemy of the state. Or how about a time when people had to sit in the back of a bus, use a separate water fountain and not be allowed in places because oft he color of their skin. And they could be killed and nobody cared. How about a time when the Army was sent to put down veterans protesting over pensions or the National Guard shooting students at Kent state.

None of that exists today. In fact when compared with our history we have it pretty damn good over all. Is it perfect and problem free? No of course not but, when you learn our history things have been much much worse.

One can be awake and not know how to get out. Do you have that answer?

They designed a system where almost everyone is too busy to care.. Let alone taking action.
And even if people know that things aren't as they are told, they still wouldn't care ...
As long as the bills are paid and there's a roof above our heads everything is just fine... for now.
Can't wait for the moment when we will be forced to place chips in our wrists and see our already-worthless-money change into virtual numbers because "it will be so much more convient for everyone".

I talk about some of the issues I see on ATS on my Facebook, to family and friends. My SO is not politically inclined, but at least if I go on a rant about big pharma or the NWO or Jade Helm,or 'blg government' he nods his head is says, "you're right, Dear. It's a dam mess, Dear." LOL My aunt is a constant watcher of FOX news, she is starting to come around though. Friends on FB normally 'like' or say something brief. My mother will listen and always agree. I don't get that kind of reaction...maybe because people have expected it from me all my life and see me as 'well read'.

Or it is I have surrounded myself with people who will listen and think about it.

I told my aunt about 6 months ago "Remember this, if the government calls an unexpected bank holiday for Monday on a Friday, take all of your money out." She called me in a panic about Greece.

I have a few friends that seem to stare at me like I am an alien and change the subject, but they are concerned because they can't pay their rent in 2 days and have an abundance of other problems, they see it as a luxury to debate the state of the world, instead of a necessity.
