Did you take something I said to Krazy personally? Why reply to me?

Disingenuous line by line distortion? LOL. Don't throw that rock too far, I can see through the sides of your house!

Great reason to vote for a President though, silly hair for the win!

No, he has the right to feel any way he pleases...As do you.

I just want to make sure you are going to be around.

I sat through your guy for 8 years while you danced, celebrated and made fun.

I just can't wait to see your reaction when my guy gets in.

I want you to be here by my side while we watch it all be dismantled

"My guy"? Who, Bush II?

He's the last President that's been in for eight years ...

Obama? I certainly did vote for him and he certainly was and is better than the options.

I actually have similar feelings about Trump ("let the world burn") but I won't be voting for him as a lark.

He's not going to be President though. Particularly if he runs Independent.

He does remind me of Reagan though ... although I think Donald's a better actor.

I already know you will be here.

I like Trump....Emotional ? Not yet....if he goes 3rd Party it might get emotional.

Just want to make sure you guys aren't going anywhere...

when will people learn, no matter who is in office they are going to sign all kinds of shady laws and trade agreements, they are going to have americans killed overseas, they are going to have record number of people in our jails, they are going to make all kinds of shady foreign policies etc etc etc. it doesn't matter republican, democrat, etc etc. even if some president comes along w all kinds of ideals half of their ideas will get shot down by the opposite side.

obama was around and had a hand in lots of things that could possibly make him look like one of the best or worst presidents of all time depending on how they pan out. cuba, iran, gay marriage, confederate flag, affordable care act etc etc alot of other things he put into place are terrible but the man did try and do good things for the country depending on your level of cynicism.

It makes you ask "What experience does a US president need?"

It's an eye opening moment if Trump takes large numbers of votes away from other candidates. Should make us examine ourselves.

Some people say Obama didn't have enough experience. Is he the only one? I know many didn't have military experience.

Ronald Reagan was a hollywood actor but he was also California governor. He also served something like 8 years in the army. He never served overseas because of poor eyesight, but WWII was a huge part of his military service. He is reported to have a film real depicting the liberation of Auschwitz. He was involved in many training films for the AAF.

How about a President that compromises when the best interest of the American people is at stake?!?! America is more segregated, more un secure, less free then anytime in the recent past.

How about a President that upholds the law and doesn't circumvent it with EO's and regulations?!?!

Obama has set this country back decades in many area's and yet the progressive's want more of the same.

We need a new potus who focuses on what our framework was built on (constitution) and not on socialistic tyranny!

You aren't going to see that from the majority of Republican candidates being fielded, and ESPECIALLY not Trump. That's for sure.

EVERY President, and I mean EVERY President has passed EO's. Try again.

Obama has set this country back decades in many area's and yet the progressive's want more of the same.

Which areas have been sent to how they were decades ago exactly?

Have you read the Constitution?

It is the in-our-face gutter-snipe LIES that emanate from that extremism, that glorifies (as we see here) stupidity, ignorance and blind-belief over everything else.

Trump is a perfect example ... but I'm repeating myself.

Yea, you nailed it on the head. I spend most political conversations correcting lies, half truths and strawmans than I do actually debating a topic. I don't even LIKE the Democratic party, but I can't seem to find a time to side against them because its ALWAYS the right pushing idiocy these days. Then all the conservative members end up thinking I'm a liberal or a Democrat. I wonder how many of those same people remember starring my posts when I posted a lot of Conservative talking points years ago about things like Obama's gun control policies and such?

Only a few are interested in the truth these days.

Most here are only interested in dispensing lies and pigeon-holing others.

Sounds like a perfect description of the presumed shoe-in for the other side - truth hahaha.

So far every time Trump has bluntly said something that offends the easily offended class he's not been proven wrong in the gist of what he's said.

Granted there is disagreement with the implications of policy in what he's said but that's politics.

Can't say I see LIES or extremism in somebody closing borders, emphasizing LEGAL immigration or having an opinion about what constitutes heroism.

Trump has a few policy positions I don't agree with but in the main he has many that would absolutely improve things for this country.

Maybe you're coming around

In the "general" many will because Trump hasn't done anything like the presumed opposition nominee.

Such as profit from sham foundations, cover up emails to avoid FOIA, Governmental oversight and public disclosure. Dismal record as SoS, Dismal record in senate. Constant lies and parsing of words to avoid dismal record. I could keep going all the way back to mid sixties but that would be repeating a well known history that should completely disqualify this person from any public office.

No matter being called names, Trump does have a chance because his record is no where like the presumed dem candidate - not even close.

Fear not if I was an American I would be so mad with the GOP words wouldn't do it justice. I am a moderate center right thinker who tends to take a Libertarian view on an issue like Gay Marriage. The fact that the GOP has left the gates open for Cruz and Trump ought to make people angry.

Cruz is an effective political operator. Really the guy wants to bully the supreme court into making rulings that only suit his own political views of the day. That aside neither Trump or Cruz would be any kind of political force if the Republican Party had taken ownership of solving the illegal immigration problem , when Bush 41 was president.

Watching Romney lose to Obama was like a political form if torture. So would be Jeb Bush losing to Hillary Clinton. I say either give the nod to Trump or someone like Cruz. Let the right wing arm of the Republican Party find out the hard way that there isn't a block of conservative voters that will only come out to the polls if a nutter runs for president.

It's getting even MORE bizarre now. I've seen conservatives who seem to have convinced themselves that because the Donald has held liberal positions in the past, that SOMEHOW this will convince a bunch of uninformed Democrat voters to vote for him (this of course disregards the fact that being uninformed voters, means they likely don't know the political history of the people that are running).

Now that is bizarre. Do they think these uniformed voters would vote for Trump in the primaries or the main presidential election? It sounds like the usually fawning over Ronald Reagan. What the people in the GOP fail to understand is that they now hate the qualities that made Reagan an effective president.

If Trump had proven himself to be a serious political candidate it wouldn't have been so unforeseeable that some of the more right wing democrats would have lent political support to him. If he had wanted to Trump could have gotten elected the Governor of New York State.

As far as I know the only US president not to have held any other kind of elected office was Herbert Hoover. Perhaps a cautionary note?

Sounds about as silly as any other idea I heard. Though Kim Kardashian would likely make just as great a president as trump would. The guy is likely there for the opera and because he has another show coming up or in the works. Like he is said before after the last presidential cycle was over and after his whole routine was done..There is no such thing as bad publicity.
