Though it is kind of funny to have someone from LDS argue about family values when the LDS' idea of marriage and family unit is also non-traditional in comparison to a majority of Christian sects and denominations.

If somebody chooses to see my opinion as a threat thats not up to me.

When other users see this topic, I want them to know that they arent alone in disagreeing with same sex marriage. Thats why I posted my opinions.

Look, when you come at people saying that we can't have a "Real Family" and that the GLBTQ+ community is the downfall of Family Values, and we don't value the concept of Marriage etc it's not going to come off as "Love"

i don't know what the Mormon Belief is, but i think you can still believe in the faith, without the shaming and degrading GLBTQ+ people

You dropped into the thread with unsubstantiated claims of how marriage equality is going to destroy America and the family unit then dismiss any and all rebuttals. You are welcome to state your opinion, but that does not protect you from criticism or refutes.

You're right. I am human and I admit my mistakes. Sometimes its difficult to show love when everybody just wants to prove you wrong.

i am assuming your religion told you what to think about "Family" and GLBTQ+ people, but that doesn't make it true, especially when there is no proof of it, there is more proof that GLBTQ+ people can have the same "Family" as non-GLBTQ+ people.

Same-Sex Marriages have been going on around the world far longer than the US, and i have yet to see any Decline of their country or the world. also you can't put all the blame and problems of the lack of "Family Values" on GLBTQ+ people...

Even with proof people still dont believe. Spend a day with me and you will see it for yourself. Still it wouldnt convince most. I didnt put the blame solely on lgbt either. Another misconception.

Well obviously. I showed you proof that there are plenty of gay couples providing loving stable homes for children in need. Proof that married gay couples can contribute wonderful things to our society. But yet, you refuse to believe.

You weren't trying to avoid anything by entering and posting to this thread. If you wanted to avoid conflict or dissent to your opinion you would've skipped it. Instead, you tried to create a conflict with broad unsubstantiated statements. You can't fault us in our attempts to correct you with our substantiated facts and anecdotes.

Not to mention all of my gay friends are good people changing the world for the better. Let's not even think about that.
Let's not even think about kids needing to be adopted. Or about cooperating with each other to change the future.
Let's not think about treating all men and women with respect.
