Your Selective Bigotry

I should probably give this rant more time than I can at the moment...but here it goes.

I see a lot of people on ATS that are against anti-black, anti-muslim, anti-gay, etc. mindsets. And rightfully so. But I am amazed at the extremely high percentage of these same people that are hypocrites and bigots. So...let me explain and remember, I am addressing this to those bigots that I am calling out...not everyone.

Some of you who wear this badge of being anti-anti and holier-than-thou because you support black people's actions, gay people's actions, etc. You don't seem to realize that you then turn around and behave anti-cop, anti-christian, etc. And in my book...that makes you no better than the monsters you hate so much. Yes...YOU HATE!

Example: A court awarded a lesbian couple a ruling of $135,000 dollars because a baker wouldn't make them a cake for their wedding. The money is for their mental pain and suffering because they couldn't get THAT cake from THAT baker. The baker didn't make the cake because it was against his religious beliefs. Making the cake would have caused him mental pain and suffering. Some of you support the lesbians and the verdict...which means you don't give the baker the same level of fairness or equality. That makes you a bigot.

You see...if you want to be a champion of the people, rights, fairness and equality...you have to distribute that to everyone equally...not just those you choose to. Not just to those YOU deem worthy. When you decide who is worthy of fairness and equality...you become a bigot.

Example: A black criminal fought with a cop and charged him. The cop shot and killed the kid in self defence. Many here on ATS called the cop guilty before any facts were provided. Many here judged the cop before any trial began. Many here looked at the cop, grouped him under the label of "bad cop" and therefore...many of you acted bigoted against cops. But then...when the black community rioted, destroying property, looting, etc...you gave them a pass. You gave them a pass because they were black and because of your bigoted assumption about the cop. In the end...the cop was justified in his actions of shooting the boy and the crowd broke the law. Again...you were bigots to the cop and supported the criminals.

I don't really care if you have an unjustified hate for the police. It doesn't affect me that you may have an unjustified hate for Israel or anyone else. But when you go around pretending that you are fighting for fairness, equality and justice...you are full of crap...and that does bother me.

Example: Many here support amnesty for people who invaded our country illegally. You call those who disagree bigots and racists. You pretend that you are doing this to "help families" and give people a "haven" and you pretend you are doing something good. Then we find out how many of these already criminals, continue their criminal activity. A woman was killed by one such person recently. Shot for no reason and murdered. Where are you now? Where is your fairness, equality and justice. Why don't YOU take some responsibility for allowing this man to be here after numerous deportations? Simple...you are a hypocrite. You justify amnesty for criminals and don't for law abiding citizens. For this one I will ask a question. How many murders, rapes and other crimes are you willing to justify your desire for amnesty...and in truth...how many deaths is getting a few more democratic voters worth? THAT is the reality.

So to end my rant, I will leave you with this. You are no better than the bigots you hate. You hate as much as the haters you dispise. And your weakly justified crusade against the "stupid" people you like to call names is so misguided, so misdirected as YOU have become just as bad as them, with one exception. YOU pretend you are better than them. So maybe that makes you worse.

I know there are some racists among us, some anti-gay people among us and so forth. These are the fringe. These are the few and the mostly isolated. However...I remember larger figures from history that USED prejudice to their advantage just as you have. Hitler, Stalin, Manson and more. Just like them, you choose who you hate and give everyone else a pass and then pretend you are right. You're not...you're a bigot.

Or maybe people are just too easily offended and attach words like bigot and racist to negate any attempt at arguing logically about a given topic. It's quite a common tactic in arguments. Ad hominem attacks undermine a person's character to force them to defend themselves.

Sorry to say...my bet is on that latter.

When the world goes bad, it's more useful to have someone to blame. So they set us up to blame each other. Then we spend all our time fighting rather than placing the real blame where it should be ... squarely at the top.

It's easier to point fingers and scream at the low-hanging fruit.

"Racist" is a weapon. I think we all know what groups carry that weapon and which don't. To me that became extremely obvious when Holder stated (basically) that there can't be racism or a hate crime against a white person. There are racists of all kinds. But only the white ones are guilty.

It is a sad and backwards time when the defenders of the oppressed are called bigots. I haven't seen anyone who hates Christians here, but would rather they stop snooping in people's bedrooms. I don't see anyone that hates all cops, just see a trend in police changing from a role of Officer of the Peace to aggressive Law Enforcement Officer.

This is a twisted concept the right wing has invented. Or maybe it's just right wing media that ahas invented it. I am not sure whom, but they are pandering to a certain segment of the population.

Sorry if this is derailing but I feel you are closer to the truth here than most would realize. It is my belief that the systems that have allowed us to prosper are being perverted on purpose in order to be the fall guy. Unfettered freedom of the personal variety and economic will be to blame and global collectivism will be the "solution". I refer to it as the false NWO. The system before us is being set up to take the fall. They can not conquer us by force as much as people would like to think so they will have us do the dirty work for them. Problem - Reaction - Solution.

Your first example is untrue:

The couple was awarded 135k because the bakery owners kept giving out their private information which lead to death threats against the couple and in turn jeopardized the adoption of children they were in the process of.

Furthermore... public accommodation. Learn about it, save yourself some typing in the future.

Personally I still think Eric Brown was murdered. I don't advocate property destruction but I'm not willing to blanket the entire black community as rioters because a few (maybe even cops) got destructive and they had every right to protest.

I support amnesty because US foreign policy especially with most of our nearest neighbors is horrific (not being melodramatic, it really is), and not nearly enough Americans call our government out on it or factor it into any voting equations. Further, I'm pretty sure that being an illegal immigrant isn't the only criteria for a murder or rapist.

So am I a bigot now?

Then you haven't opened your eyes or ears. You can't say there is a crime against a gay couple for "mental pain and suffering" and then fairly punish someone for not doing something that would have caused them "mental pain and suffering". Equality has to be for all...not just those you choose to support.

Set themselves up as the fall guy, and then ... meet the new boss, same as the old boss. But everyone will be looking to be saved and buy what they're selling hook, line and sinker.

I have a form of bigotry that spans all races, religions, sexes and ethnic backgrounds . I am very very anti-stupid !!!!
