Well, the LGBTS community did have a reason to complain. The Christians do not. Not an applicable comparison in my opinion.

Hell it wasn't until I came to ATS or turned on certain media outlets that I hated so many people.

Then you need to change the channel or whom you choose to listen to. Hatred is in the heart, my friend. Propaganda outlets capitalize on that.

Well that's telling. Gays had a point. Unequal rights for them.

Don't see it that way. Hell them evil christians were doing them a favor.

No child support,alimony,palimony, and the other halves couldn't take everything they own.

The entire 'issue' is manufactured imo.

The state shouldn't be in the 'business' of marriage anyway.

The only thing it's about is money these days. For couples, and the state gets a bigger slice of their incomes.

Is it just me, or does this entire "theme" that their way of life or beliefs are under constant attack require some rather large leaps in logic? It's hard to have a productive dialogue on the issues when it seems that one side of the debate believes some unknown mysterious conspiracy is lurking in the shadows.

Also true. The church wasn't necessarily trying to stop homosexuals from getting equal rights. The flock, however, was. Christians did not want them to have those rights.

Now that they do have that right, it's a pity party and cower in fear as they lost the fight and now believe all of the gays are going to come for their religion.

The Muslims were not trying to stop gay marriage in the US and what happens to them in other countries does not have anything to do with the US.

Quit trying to push the attention on to Muslims or other nations. You're trying to divert attention away from what the US Christians did in this case.
