Maybe you shouldn't judge off one song because it disagrees with your views. Do regular rap songs entice you? How about slapping hoes and pimping bitches?

Is this really that bad?

When my oldest was young and rap music in its infancy.

I listened to it with my daughter and then said to the very young preteen

"Do you want a boy to bite off your nipple?"

She looked at me in horror and said "No!"

I replied "That is in the lyrics of the song we just listened to"
She said no, I said listen again, she got the message
and never bought rap again
that was misogynistic and ugly

However, she did buy Christian rap, which I approved of,
even if (gasp)
the lyrics were not trying to convert anyone or about Jesus.
I just wanted her to listen to songs that had positive messages
and did not glorify offensive behavior.

Wow....this is going well.

So how about some christian hip hop songs?

You can check out Praverbs music. He was a great hip hop artist who unfortunately passed away last fall (way too soon) His message is Christian and you can listen to a lot of his music on here. praverbthewyse.bandcamp.com...

Idiomz is another Christian emcee who has recently released an album that you can find and listen to here. Real great music and message

idiomz.bandcamp.com...

Another song I like a lot is KJ52 - YOU'RE GONNA MAKE IT as seen here...

Another song is Posta Boy - God is standing by my side.

There are a lot more, but this is my contribution for now.

KV.

Anything that calls a group of people "wicked" for who they are, how they were born, who they love and how they love, is ignorant, bigoted and hate filled. Using the Bible is no excuse.

Make sure you include yourself in the category of those who are ignorant, bigoted and hated filled. I don't see you spreading any love around this thread, every comment you have made clearly shows your hate for Christians so how does that make you any better? I can see the hate in your eyes from here

I just call 'em as I see 'em, and I see Christians slinging hate at homosexuals and those who defend them more than any other group. It's especially hypocritical since Jesus never condemned homosexuals, but he DID condemn the, so called, Christian behavior that I see so called Christians performing and defending regularly, here, there and everywhere the equal marriage debate arises.
