Anyone else listen to this? I prefer Canon, Bizzle and NF mainly but I do like Lacrae and others. My main reason to listen to them isn't necessarily because they are Christian, but more so because they convey a positive message and I don't have to hear cuss words every other word. I love rap music and the beats, but I have become fed up with the harsh lyrics. My cousin introduced me to Lacrae many years ago and I was pretty amazed at how good he was. The song by NF , called Paralyzed literally describes my past 15 years of my life.

Here is another video that is pretty powerful and amazing...

Anything that wasn't that horrible humming hymn crap music in the Presbyterian Church singing, was a sin and thrown out of the house with an ass beating

I was beaten for having a Micheal Jackson cassette tape in my room by my over the top mom.
I am so programmed not to listen to this Christian rap you're talking about

Maybe you should open your views and check it out. Its not what you would think it is. It speaks of the truth of how society is today, something that is much needed.

Not bad at all.

Is this just one of his less christian songs? Or what makes it christian rap?

I can't think of a better or more positive message than the one these Christians rap about.

Yeah, this isn't much of a Christian song per say, but it is his style...here are a few others....The whole idea of Christian rap isn't to preach always, but to show that you understand we are all sinners.

Maybe you shouldn't judge off one song because it disagrees with your views. Do regular rap songs entice you? How about slapping hoes and pimping bitches?

Is this really that bad?

Seriously, what scares you on the left about religion? You guys seek out confrontation. You do everything you accuse Christians of. Is it the fact that it may be true and you are being judged? I never understood the non-believers desire to ridicule those who do believe, what is it about Christians that scares you , seriously? We aren't ISIS and we aren't out there chopping heads off, or drowning people? Is it because you want to minimize your opposition, what is it seriously? Is it that we have a different view on things and you don't agree with us? For the party of tolerance, you sure as hell try harder than anything to shut down the voices of Christians. So what is it exactly that scares you?

I'm gonna shock a few people here and say that I love music with a positive spiritual message.

I find it positive, uplifting and refreshing.

Sister Cristina is one of my favourites. She is the real life Whoopie Goldberg from Sister Act.

She even takes a skanky old Madonna song and turns it into something quite spectacular and of great spiritual merit

Just another example of Christians hijacking pop-culture to promote Christian bias, wrapped in hate and bigotry.

Not a Christian or even religious really but I do like Bizzle and what he stands for. God over money is a great movement to be promoting.

Windword, that wasn't hateful or bigoted it was a guy rationalising his opinion and doing it in a productive, intelligent and thoughtful way. You're pretty much just exemplifying what he was saying about instantly screaming hate and plugging your ears when somebody disagrees. And he's right, these attempts to connect gay issues to the black civil rights struggle are insane; they're not even close.

Anything that calls a group of people "wicked" for who they are, how they were born, who they love and how they love, is ignorant, bigoted and hate filled. Using the Bible is no excuse.

Congrats for bringing your bias to it then because it's either clouded your ability to hear or you didn't bother listening. He mentions the word wicked twice: one referring to the media, the other to the agenda to bring homosexuality into churches, nowhere does he refer to gayness itself or gays as wicked.

This guy received death threats for stating his opinion, I don't see any of these so called loving people defending his right to free speech while they cry about the perceived suppression of their own; just a bunch of goons acting like facists whenever anybody dares to say they disagree with their lifestyle.

I call 'em as I see 'em. His message is exactly the same as all the other tired Christians arguments, hiding behind the Bible as an excuse to single out, judge and damn homosexuals.

I don't hear Bizzle complaining about fornicators or adulterous divorcees remarrying, and feeling manipulated by the media 'cuz their wicked sins are being forced on him!

Is he using his talent to project love and acceptance? Or, is he just your average Christian hypocrite, using what's popular to disseminate division and hate?

Yes, how hypocritical to not include lyrics about divorce in a track that's not about divorce. I'm off now to critique van goghs paintings of sunflowers and tell everybody how crap they are because they don't feature buildings.

Yes, hypocritical! Jesus condemns divorce and claims that remarried divorcees are committing adultery. Adulterous marriages are performed all the time in churches. Where's the Christian outrage? It's being deflected to the gays, that's where!

He decries racism, yet promote bigotry in the name of his god and his bible.

He the worst kind of hypocrite, feigning offense all the way to the bank!

Lecrae, and Andy Mineo would have to be my favorites. I prefer them over most of the stupid ignorant rap that is put out there today. They usually do have a positive message.

Christian attempts at music are always hilarious/awful, but this track is something else....
