The court case cites incidents where veteran were illegally experimented on.
I wonder if those of us from Desert Storm can do something about those exprerimental Anthrax shots and the PCBpills we took for Sarin?www.law360.com...

Off topic: I'm going to be "that guy". I think you meant Vietnam. You have an N instead of a V at the front of Vietnam.

On topic: Sending them off to fight for corporate interests is one thing. Experimenting on them against their will is another. I hope he wins. Thanks for posting this. People should know what they've been up to.

PCBpills

PCBs: PolyChlorinated Biphenyls, are a group of organic chemicals which can be odorless or mildly aromatic solids or oily liquids. They were formerly used in the USA as hydraulic fluids, plasticizers, adhesives, fire retardants, way extenders, de-dusting agents, pesticide extenders, inks, lubricants, cutting oils, in heat transfer systems, carbonless reproducing paper.

Hopefully you are talking about a different pcb , where i work it was used as a transformer oil until it was found to be carcinogenic , nasty stuff apparently and we had all sorts of protocols in place to deal with it .

Maximum Contaminant Level Goals (MCLG).

The MCLG for PCBs has been set at zero.

I am a navy Vietnam vet that was exposed to burning PCBs during a ship board fire.
The US navy used electrical cables on navy ships built before 1979 with PCBs in the insulation.

In a fire this insulation put off PCBs and a dioxin called Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDD) and dibenzofuranes (PCDF) in the smoke. Agent orange was Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD)

I have filed for service connection for diabetes and heart problems caused by this exposure and am waiting for a ruling.
I expect to be denied. but i am so sure of the case i will keep fighting it all the way to the courts.

The highest recorded PCDD levels ever found in the US were around the World Trade center site after 9/11 from all the burned pre 1979 transformers and electrical wiring in the buildings.

Sadly that was the way back in the day . I am sure pcb's were " the thing " back then . They have a high dialectic strength and a high flashpoint . Sadly along with things such as asbestos which also filled these categories it was later found out to be very nasty , very nasty indeed .

Unable to access your first link without Providing a business address ( Lawyer )
Read all 37pages of the second link. Appears to reference only volunteers for said experiments and a duty to warn.

I assume "experimental" Anthrax shots and PCBpills were mandatory ?
Do you suspect you may have debilitating side effects from these two substances ?

I can't imagine anyone volunteering to be subjected to the things mentioned in the second link.

My understanding and concern lies with the inhalation of depleted Uranium which has caused numerous genetic abnormalities in the exposed individuals genome.
Most frequently presenting as birth defects in newborns of returning Vets as well as the citizens of Iraq.

The problem Vets are faced with is causality. YOU must link the effect to the cause. An exceedingly difficult task.
All things considered you/we are an asset when fighting and a huge liability when health and limbs go south .

Hearing the mentioning of Agent Orange (TDCC), wasn't this stuff used in general pestisites as well? I distinctly remember hearing of PCB poisoning having the effect of sore muscles and muscle aches, as well as myositis asa side effect. And a connection to pestisites?

And can you tell me, doctor, why I still can't get to sleep?
And why the Channel Seven chopper chills me to my feet?
And what's this rash that comes and goes, can you tell me what it means?
God help me,
I was only nineteen.

The song is a first-person account of a typical Australian infantry regular conscript's experience in the Vietnam War, from training in Australia to first hand exposure to military operations and combat, and ultimately his return home disillusioned, psychologically scarred and possibly suffering from the effects of the chemical defoliant Agent Orange.

These were given to US troops as a prophylactic against Sarin agents .
We were told the pill would create a protective barrier around the myelin sheaths of our nerve endins.

Don't feel bad. I actually get a lot of typos. You don't see them because I obsess over checking what I write before hitting the button to post. Even then I sometimes have to go back and edit. If there wasn't an edit button my posts would be a mess.

Couldn't believe the size of some people's arms right after that shot. Thought for sure a couple of my buddies arms were going to pop.
