Need Help With Strange Anomaly, What Did I See?

I saw something similar to shapes you saw. For me it was kind of like minecraft, where the shapes are very square or rectangularish and was composed of many to make the image I saw. And I was looking at this thing for a solid 5 to 10 seconds so I know I wasnt seeing things, it was real. I don't have any mental illness and I don't play minecraft but I know about it. I came to the conclusion that what I saw was from a different layer in the dimension, kinda like a glitch in the matrix, it looked like it was glitching.

That is a good question and not something I would have factored in, however, I don't have an energy saving bulb in that lamp, and the more I think about it, I don't think the lamp was on, as the colour on the wall when I looked up was uniform not with a light patch which happens when the light is on. I don't have much in the way of energy saving bulbs in the rest of the house either, basically due to the light quality being rubbish and the mercury danger factor too.

That is very interesting. So was what you saw moving within the perimeter of the overall shape? Was it flat like I saw or did it have a more 3d look, like minecraft does? Wish mine had lasted longer so I could have had a right good look at it, even if it would have scared the pants off me.

What I saw was flat, like 2d, it was black and was made up of rectangles that formed something. When I was looking at it all I could think of was demon or demon animal since it was standing and slowly walking but also glitching. I knew that I was up and wasn't dreaming because my son was waking up from a nightmare so I sat up because he sat up and I wanted to hold him. I calmed my son down and layed him back down. I turned and saw this thing. I turned back to my son and asked him if he saw something, he said yes and didn't want to talk about it. I turned back and it was gone. I was scared to fall asleep after that so I was up for awhile. That was the first time I saw or even heard about anything like that, I almost came here to make a post about it.

Wow that sounds really scary, especially as it was big enough to be standing and walking. Glad that what I saw was only a small rectangle. I am starting to really wonder what is actually going on, on this planet these days. Thank you for sharing your experience, most interesting.

Curiously, since this thread began, I have seen something strange myself. I have never been aware of seeing anything that shouldn't be there, in the sense meant through this thread, until about 10 days ago I was driving home in the afternoon on a clear day here in a western suburb of Auckland.......when.....
The front outline of a tall fast running 'man' ran right across the road in front of my truck. All I saw of it was a thin black line tracing the leading edge of a form with legs pumping and arms thrusting, as in running
" Was that a bird?" thought me trying to explain it to myself......no way! It wasn't disturbing, just unexplainable in normal ways........so? glitch in the matrix? or dimension shift? same thing I guess........interesting times my friends.

That is very curious. Is it possible that it was the army testing some new cloaking device, like the one from the film Predator?
Have you thought about starting a thread about your experience? Maybe others have seen similar.
