Happy Independence Day, Americans!

No great lengthy post here. Just wanted to wish all my fellow Americans a happy Independence Day and wish you all the best. And for all the foreigners, happy July 4th!

Stay hydrated, use sunscreen, don't drink and drive (or boat). Don't shoot fireworks inside (it happens. Every year. Seriously.) and for those of you with neighbors, try to not point your fireworks at their house.

Friday was payday for a lot of people, which means extra money for...fireworks. But go buy them before you're 9th beer, k?

Hope everybody has fun doing exactly what they want to do today. And wakes up tomorrow with all their fingers and toes still where they belong.

You have a happy and safe one too!

We started early last night with a gasoline soaked bonfire that my nephew safely ignited from a distance with a Roman candle. It didn't have sights mounted, so it took him 5 rounds to hit it.

I should have mentioned that everyone in attendance was stone cold sober.
We don't mix alcohol with our kind of fun.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be taking it easy this holiday. I'm not working right now so I cannot travel too far. Instead I will reflect on the memory of my late and dear friend Adam Alexander Albee III, his birthday was on the 4th of July. I and my friends miss him dearly. RIP my friend and brother. Happy 4th of July to all!
