Time and money were too short to enable this for me, but I would like to return the invitation.

I've just been for a one night camp in the Forest of Dean. We heard a big cat, communicated with the sacred pig spirit,www.abovetopsecret.com... and saw much sign of forest spirit activity.

On a more mundane note the only one of us with a phone switched on got a mysterious call. Someone checking up on our actual whereabouts?

Nobody needs to camp at Avebury if they are worried about 'bunking up' with strangers - Swindon is about 15 minutes away and has plenty of cheap accommodation.

I spend a lot of time at Avebury and it would be interesting if an ATS 'investigation team' did happen there. Someone let me know if it does.

Nonspecific doesn't drive, and I only have 4 spaces in the car.

You can camp for free on the Ridgeway a 20 minute walk from Avebury. I am up for it. We have an eight person tent in the loft.
