I've found a track by Gramatik called "Torture' that works better than the one I talked about in my previous thread Royalty free music similar to Duck Sauce? however his music is licensed under Creative Commons by NC (Non-Commercial) meaning I can't use it for commercial purposes.

We being a video company have been asked to produce a video however our client has a very tight budget so we're needing royalty free, cost free music for it. Here's the track that we KNOW is perfect for the video but cannot be used.

www.youtube.com...

The video features slow motion action and "sexiness" so it needs that comical suave feel, much like if you saw a group of chubby, British men turning up in slow motion walking toward a beach as if they were a group of sexy women in bikinis. It also needs to sound professional and not amateur. If anyone knows the proper genre of this type of, I'd say rock/electro/swing/sexy/bouncy music or could direct me to a GREAT website with FREE royalty free music I'd really appreciate it! Before you ask, I've put those genres in and it gets me nowhere. It has to be specific.

Sounds like something that would come about if Eric Clapton and Jimmy Hendrix got down and dirty with The Prodigy and Pendulum, and somehow had a genetically improbable love child with them using some sort of surrogate mother and in vitro fertilisation techniques.

Christ alone knows what to call it. Have you tried just typing the name of the artist and the word "genre" into google?

I have, unfortunately it only comes up with many variations of electronic and pop genres. Nothing about swing or rock.

Psychadelic rock riff with electro synth mixed in. I don't know what to make of it. I don't know if I like it or not.

Some sort of bastardized hybrid. # that!

That's not bad, lacks a bit of life though, needs a bit more going on. I wonder if I can alter it, if so I might give it a go.

I'd say Sixties-style hard rock, typical blues influence and all.

Naw, progRock is almost never that fuzzy.

This is electronica with heavy sampling from hard rock.

Electro funk blues rock?

Defining genres was so much easier in the 60s-70s.
