Actually, now that I think about it....I'm damn near positive Jesus never encouraged self-mutilation or dismemberment.

I did. All I could find was Mormon links saying that deformities won't be present in Heaven, where everyone will have their "perfect bodies".

I think that was old Testament stuff. Where warts and pimples were a sign of your sin or possession by a demon, you couldn't give sermon to someone suffering from Dwarfism etc, etc. Real ignorant stuff.
