Um... Actually the media and the LGBT community is focusing on the gay marriage issue altogether, not just what a few bigoted businesses are doing.

Well said. The "well it is worse off over there" argument is just a fallacy and a way to distract from handling the issues at home.

Every time there is a small, but significant win in Equal Rights --- it Pays it Forward. It doesn't matter where that win is --- it joins the "whole".

Canada approved gay marriage. That put pressure on the U.S.

The collective of countries ruling for gay rights has put a lot of pressure on those who have not.

The U.S. still has a way to go, and the political world is watching.
