ST. PETERSBURG, June 18 /TASS/. A Russian astronomer has discovered a new asteroid which can potentially collide with Earth IN FUTURE. Astronomer Leonid Yelenin, a research associate at the M.V. Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics, told TASS on Thursday that the asteroid was registered as 2015 LK24 by the Minor Planet Centre, which registers such celestial objects. “The asteroid’s size is about 160 metres. It will approach to Earth on June 26 at a safe distance of 4.7 million kilometers,” Yelenin went on to say. “It will be hard to distinguish the asteroid with the naked eye when it is maximum close to Earth because its radiance will reach only 17th magnitude of a star,” the astronomer stressed.
Congratulations to Leonid, it's his first "potentially dangerous asteroid".

It's not so much the ones we know about, the real danger comes from the 1000's we have absolutely zero idea about.

Congratulations to Leonid, it's his first "potentially dangerous asteroid".
It is not his First finding and according to one ATS conspiracy thread this man Leonid Yelenin doesn't exist at all.
