this guy was a city boy, said he managed maybe three hours before they got him. Apparently crossing small streams and ponds, nor the old double back a few yards on your tracks and depart again 90 degrees from your original course to throw off trackers and their dogs doesn't work. Basically learned that if you want to avoid getting caught by a dog you gotta kill the dog and its handler which won't easy since the two aren't exactly alone out there. And your still hanging out in the search area. Kinda a conundrum.


Said a few of them did manage to completely evade somehow but that they were worse on those guys once they got to the next part. Nobody likes a smart ass especially at SERE.
