Looks like the Feds are getting involved in the New York City gun crime wave.

They want to "get gun crimes under control".

I guess NYPD isn't what it's all cranked up to be in the TV shows.

Get ready for big city crime law enforcement to be "Federalized".

What makes the Feds "better" ?

Bullet-riddled windows, yellow crime scene tape, and evidence markers denoting where shell casings fell on the sidewalk are becoming all-too-familiar sights on New York City streets.

Now in an unprecedented move, a federal agency is joining the effort to get gun crimes under control, CBS2’s Marcia Kramer reported Monday.

Kramer is told it was a collective decision made by the federal government, the NYPD, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

This is nothing more than propaganda to continue the militarization of our police forces.

How much you want to bet, they go after people on psychological meds and leave the gang bangers run rampant?

Somehow,when Guiliani was mayor, NYPD was able to do an outstanding job without the need for Feds.

For the Anti-gun nuts.... It doesn't work, It never has, it never will.

Limiting the rights for the common man does nothing to deter the criminal element. The reverse is true, it actually emboldens them when they know their victims are disarmed and have no chance of fighting back.

The war on drugs should be your example. That has worked so well. Making self defense for the common man illegal will turn the US into Mexico.

Also, I bet 10 to 1 odds that if the ATF becomes involved that they will not make a dent in gangs and criminal trafficking. They will go after any normally law abiding citizen that may have "undeclared" contraband.

They won't target gangbangers. They're going to go after people with an internet connection, that read alternative news. Anybody who reads ATS will be branded a political dissident and terrorist, incarcerated without charges or trial, and be sent off to "residential centers".

The majority of NYC gun crimes are committed by criminals who have no claim to own legal weapons or by the NYPD themselves. Not sure what else can be done other than put more guns in the hands of law abiding citizens and ramping up oversight on an increasing militarized thug like police force who's continued violations of Constitutional guarantees becomes more commonplace everyday.

Yeah, it's been proven that statisticly, states with lenient gun laws have less gun related crimes. The media loves to glorify the rare occurances when a child gets his daddy's gun and blows someone's head off. It's their perfect springboard to disarm America. Even the motives behind school shootings are highly suspect. They come off scripted.

The bottom line is, TPTB are getting more arrogant and taking bigger risks than ever before, with the crimes they can expose humanity to. They know it's just a matter of time before a sychronisity of information, and cognitive clarity reach critical mass.

The inmates will go WILD. Extreme prejudice will be used by police, National Guard, and hired guns, demonstrating how, disorder and disobedience will be fatal. Of course they want to disarm you. Of course they are flaunting police brutality nationwide, and how police shootings are immune to legal discourse. This is merely prep in fear mongering and being terrorized by the media. And to a lesser extent, a virtual anesthesia.

They realize that mass disarmament of civilian, will make outraged citizens, as easy to shoot as fish in a barrel. People need to see the writing on the wall, make constellations to every move and motive reported in reference to the oligarchs. Any assault on information, the internet, free speech, right to bare arms, rights to travel, and subversion of democracy, are queues to decent.
