Looks they are filming through a window and that looks like a reflection.
Likely a double-glazed window at that, plus if these are 'objects' why does the right one, (as viewed) seem partially subsumed by the left one?
I agree, it definitely looks like a double reflection of one object. Most likely a lamp.

"It was only after the weather dramatically changed from total sunshine to intense cloudiness that Anna's mother went out and snapped a picture of the landscape."
You didnt read all of it
Either way. I dont care. I just think some things are too quickly dismissed.

I admit that I missed the part of "the lady went outside," in my earlier mentioning that it may be a reflection in a double-pane window. That solution was based on the blown-up portion.
Another look at the regular image shows the object(s) as quite distinct. So I'm thinking to distinct and sharp for a lens problem or a reflection on a window. My best guess for a conventional object is that it is a single-engine float plane coming in to land and maybe why the image was captured but that point escaped the memory of the photog. --And yes, it could be a genuine UFO.

The highly suspicious "window" bug. It's not a bug, it's a feature.
window .
No. Just a better grasp of nerd humor.
Or perhaps I need a better understanding of your "feature?"

Yes. So what? Not the first time someone said they were outside when the picture they took says different.

Did you notice what's going on in the lower right quadrant of the image?
