Strange experiences...

I have made this thread for anyone who wants to share a puzzling
experience they have had, and for others to try and come up with explanations for what happened. I myself have had two extremely strange experiences, one of which seems supernatural, whereas the other can be explained.

While I was attending mass at my local church, I got quite a shock.
When I was queuing to recieve 'the body of christ' two women entered the line behind me, one of them guiding the other. I wondered what was
wrong with the woman being guided. I dismissed the thought as the person in front of me moved forward, and I began walking forward myself. A few seconds later the queue stopped moving again, and the woman behind me slipped her hands around my waist. I suppressed a gasp, and wondered what on earth she was doing. I know that most people would probably have prised the grip of her hands from their waist, but I found
myself unable to move, until the man in front of me began to walk forwards once again, and I started walking too. The woman's hands slid off
my waist as I moved away, and I allowed myself to relax slightly. Then, as I stopped moving, along with the rest of the queue, she wrapped her
arms around me again. The next time I moved forward, I reached the front
of the line, and recieved my peice of Holy Bread.
All in all, this was an odd and disconcerting experience, but not unpleasant. I found out afterwards that the woman who had been holding me, was, in fact, blind.

My second experience seems a supernatural one, and is very puzzling.

I was at my friend's house, about six in the evening (winter, so
already very dark outside), and as we both liked the program 'Buffy the
Vampire Slayer', and it was on TV, we began to watch it. When it was finished, my mother called and asked me to come home. My friend said she would accompany me, and we began to walk over to my house. An elderly man was walking in front of us. He was dressed completely in black, and was wearing a hat that shadowed his face. I was feeling hyper and daring, so when my friend discreetly dared me to jump up behind him prentending to be a vampire, I agreed, and began walking behind him, jumping, pretending to bite him. I know it was childish, but I was young...
I was doing it silently, so he didn't even notice me. We reached my house, and the man in front of us walked into a small gap next to our driveway. I thought this was strange, as there was nowhere to go through there. As we walked through the garden, the motionsensored light came on. I looked to the gap, but he was not there. I jumped. Where was he? There was nowhere he could have gone, without leaving the space between the houses, and there was no way he could have done that without us seeing him. My friend and I were both frightened. My friend wouldn't go home by herself because she was so scared. I was particularly scared, I was just wondering where he had gone, and I still do to this day.
Can you explain it?
I can't.

Over to you.

Nice story.... anyway, I have no problem with Aloe Vera, only those FLP agents who love ripping off money from people damn hard. What's it taste like? Guess, it's very sour.

What's weird about the blind women grabbing you?

And maybe the guy was a ghost?

Yea seems like the black-clad figure was a ghost. Was there anything weird about him you noticed before he dissappeared? Also you can find out about people who lived before you in your house ? Its scary though! How ironic though that he ended up scaring you than vice-versa!

P.S. Why's AV evil?

I've got one.

Last year me and a buddy were sitting on the curb of my street at about 11:00pm. We were talking when i noticed a "whitish" figure coming towards us from down the street. I thought it was someone jogging, but who would be jogging a 11 at night. I told my buddy and we watched it come towards us. As it got about 15-20 feet away from us it slowly vanished into thin air. We started freaking out so we just ran into my house. WE laughed about it after but it still freaks me out to this day. Was it a ghost or something else?
