Let me start over...

If he introduced the audit the Fed bill in the senate, the he is a candidate worth keeping an eye on, because that's a good start and better than any other candidate so far save maybe Rand. I would be curious on how serious he really is about the Fed and other issues Ron got shunned and pissed on by the GOP over.

I believe he wants to Fix the Fed rather than remove it completely. Here is the full text of his on the FEDERAL RESERVE INDEPENDENCE
ACT.

That is why we are introducing the Federal Reserve Independence Act.
This legislation would:
* Prohibit banking industry executives or other employees in companies regulated by the Fed from serving on any of the Federal Reserve’s board s of directors;
* Prohibit the banking industry from selecting any of the Fed’s board of directors.
* Prohibit Federal Reserve employees or board members from owning stock or investing in companies that the Fed oversees, regulates, and supervises without any ex ceptions or waivers.

Under this legislation, no one who works for or invests in a firm eligible to receive direct financial assistance from the Fed would be allowed to sit on the Fed's board of directors or be employed by the Fed

Ron Paul got straight up "Black Balled" and Denied Access to the entire political process. I don't doubt that similar actions will happen to Bernie as well. Let's not let it happen twice.

Fixing the Fed is attempting to put a band-aid on things. The Fed can't be fixed IMO. The fiat monetary system is a complete failure. I'll be objective and wait and see if he offers more perspective and priority on it, but the fed needs to END period, and imo that is the only solution.

I already said who I will be voting for...twice.

Somehow you missed it both times.

On this we agree 100%. The GOP also effectively ruined any chance in the future of grass roots candidates from ever having a chance to be taken seriously by their "group" as a result of Ron Paul. They completely changed their own rules against the little guy because of how much attention Ron Paul got. He had them scared as hell because he exposed their agenda. Will Bernie expose the DNC "group" and their agenda as well?

Time will tell.

Only someone without the lights on upstairs would be a Democrat or Republican after the last 14 years.

That's just it if a person doesn't run as a Democrat or Republican then you don't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning the Presidency. That is why Bernie who has always been a Independent is running as a Democrat.

Lets just go to the head of the Bilderberg and let them run a dictatorship why the hell not

Who is the head of the Bilderberg? Now I am curious.

As for the Fiat money system, I totally agree, it has to end. Which it may very well do on it's own soon enough. But let's say it doesn't implode on itself just yet and somehow stays afloat for a while longer. I don't think it's as easy as just bringing the whole thing to a total stop. That would be the same as having it all crash.

I think something as large and complicated as that would have to be dismantled over time and in pieces otherwise it would be no different than just having the whole economic system vanish tomorrow. Can you imagine the chaos that would result??? The economy is the most powerful force on this planet. Even Military Force must first have Economic Power to even exist. That isn't something that you just remove in one swipe without expecting complete and total collapse of society for many years.

With this statement alone, I will say there are similarities with Bernie and Ron Paul. I remember clearly explaining that exact thing when everyone asked why Ron didn't run as an independent Libertarian. You are right, the DNC and the GOP run the political show. Some serious crap needs to happen to expose both dog and pony shows.

I disagree. I think it has to crash and only crash because that is the only way. It needs to happen sooner rather than later. It will only end if it crashes, it's inevitable. The issue is, the longer this goes on, the longer and harder the crash will be.

When Ron was literally denied access to the debates I knew right then that he was my choice. Anyone who scares the powers that be that much must be doing something right. It also was a bit of a wake up call that such a clear and undeniable action could happen without anyone being held accountable meant that things were much more out of control than I realized at the time. That one event should have shocked more people than it did and should have caused people to rise up against the system of Gov. itself but it didn't. He wasn't some fringe guy out of nowhere or something. To do that and get away with it was a clear sign for anyone who was even half way paying attention.

You may be right. After all it is destined to fail by design. There isn't even an option to correct the increase of debt the way it's structured. So it has to fail eventually. It's really just a matter of how soon you get to that breaking point.

But I'd much rather have it be a controlled demolition than an uncontrolled crash. At least then you can mitigate some of the damage and the clean up and rebuilding goes faster.

My feeble mind can't even start to comprehend how this would be possible. BUT, If Bernie has a plan for this to somehow take place, then I'm all ears!

Whenever we get into the Fed and extensions of things and bailouts, lowering interest rates which is still at 0, etc I tend to just cringe. The Fed has already introduced 3 bailouts to stop the crash, now we are on the virge of #4. None of which has yet to soften the blow of anything, it's only making it worse and the bubble keeps growing.

Well, I do know that Sanders has said many times that Too Big to Fail is Too Big to Exist. His full plan on what to do about it I need to research more about. I know he wants to break them up. I know he didn't vote for the bailouts either. I know one of his main goals is to seriously reduce the power and control over the financial system by the big banks and wall street. He's made it very clear that he is not on their side and they know it. He's actually quite brazen about it too which is very dangerous for him. But that is also why so many support him.

Well I'm all about common sense, so I have to admit I like the quote "If an institution is too big to fail, it is too big to exist". I got a good chuckle out of that one because it's funny and true..

I will be watching the democratic debates with Bernie because there may be some potential there. I am curious how the mainstream "status quo" liberals will treat him. If he's anything like Ron, it's going to be a rocky ride but maybe one worth watching.
