Paranormal Ball Of Light Is Either A 'UFO' Or Rare Glimpse Of 'Ball Lightning'

"At around 4am in Zaporozhye in Southeast Ukraine, a mysterious ball of light appeared on the CCTV footage of a synagogue.

The strange orb was discovered by rabbi Michael Oishie who upon looking at the CCTV footage discovered that something was amiss. No wiser as to its origins, the rabbi then shared it on Facebook:"

"..the most likely explanation is that it is in fact an ultra-rare occurrence called 'ball lightning'."

Nice catch there man. S&F.

There seems to be some type of shape changing, I suppose that could be ball lightning. I have never really seen such a clear video of ball lightning before with which to compare.
Also does it shoot in from the right? There seems to be some movement there, but it could be an insect I suppose.
Very cool video though.

Deffinately seems more earth natural, like some kind of lightNing bolt.

Don't think aliens/ufo was the correct forum to shed light on the topic. Maybe fragile earth, or something..

It's flying and movements appear exactly like a quad-copter's would. But it also doesn't appear to be lighting anything up around it with it's lighting. It's also far too coincidental that it lowers itself directly in front of the camera, and then ascends right back to wherever it came from.

I'd say it's either a quad-copter with bright lights shining at the camera, or CGI.

Possible shadow of a person on the middle right hand of picture. Upper part of shadow looks like it is changing shape (moving arms?).

I suspect a laser pointer shining on protective glass cover over camera enclosure.

It is on the camera lens.

You can see the so called ball of light, if it were out there in front of the doorway, would have effected the large shadow on the ground and caused the fenceposts to have shadows to appear out in the walkway, but no shadows appear when the ball of light does. This shows conclusively that it is not out in 3d space but only on the camera lens.

If its ball lightning, i didnt know its movement would be so erratic.

If its a ufo, its tiny !!

The video came up. That doesn't appear to be ball lightning to me. I actually got to see it once when I was young and it did not at any time hover.

I watched it move across the field through a window into the kitchen where it popped like a burn out lightbulb and was gone . But one thing I remember clearly is it never stopped it's movement .

I'm not sure which part is supposed to be the UFO but by far that is the coolest and closest lightening strike I have ever seen! You can see the plants burning as the driver goes by! I might have had an accident if that were me.......of the embarrassing kind..........

I remember a pretty good thunderstorm when I was a kid, lots of lightning. I happened to be sitting in in the middle of our living room (was after sunset and dark)... all of a sudden a perfect sphere of electricity (best I can describe it) came shooting out of an outlet, traveled in a straight line for several inches and promptly disappeared...

If you look closely, there is also some kind of reflected light that moves in tandem with the "ball lightning" almost in the middle of the video on the concrete.

I have never seen an example of any kind of lightning, let alone ball lightning like that. Almost looks other worldly.

I couldn't be more unimpressed.
We should focus more on daylight sightings, these "lights in the sky at night" are pretty much useless.
Just not anything substantial to this.
I know aliens are here, I'm no debunker, but this goes in the ho-hum file.

Point #1) As bright as this object is, there's absolutely no illumination of anything around it.

Point #2) Hovers down into view...sits for a while...hovers up and out of view. Eliminates Ball Lightning.

Point #3) Someone (a Rabbi?) actually had so much time on their hands that they were watching hours of boring security camera video to see if anything exciting happened on a prior night?

Conclusion IMHO = HOAX...probably a Computer Generated Image.

I think it's an insect , probably a small spider on its web , I've seen similar from other security cam footage in the past claiming evidence of Angels or Ghosts , check the video below for similarities.

i'm still on the fence regarding ball lightning even existing. the bugs thing is a possibility for sure.

and i agree with those noting a lack of shadows from such an apparently bright light. odd.
