Kalief Browder, 1993-2015

Many people don't know about this young man and the unbelievable injustice that took up most of his young life and eventually through inflicted mental illness, robbed him of it. When Kalief was seventeen years old he and his friend were stopped in the Bronx for suspicion of stealing a back-pack. Kalief insisted he did not... he spent the next three years at Rikers in their juvenile facility, much of it in solitary confinement, awaiting a trial that should have taken place the day after he was arrested.

Kalief took his own life Saturday, June 6, 2015. May he rest in peace.

Wow! That is heart-wrenching. Poor guy, gets messed up in the head when he is denied his Constitutional rights to a fair and speedy trial and is put in solitary confinement for 2 out of 3 year (unconvicted) jail stay. Then he commits suicide when he can't take the onset paranoia anymore...

Sure it's a sad case but by inciting people you do more harm than good.
