Ok, i think this thread might ket killed, but lets try.

BUT
Remember the Colonel?
Arent there posters that usually make you cringe, yet you feel COMPELLED to read their posts?

This is the cult of personality thing...

Much like howard stern detractors listen on average LONGER than fans do, just to "hear what he's gonna say next."

Or survivor fans that love richard hatch for being well, richard hatch...the game player.

Why deny that we do love to read a really opposing point of view...we wouldnt be here otherwise! No story is complete without a "scoundral" to spice things up.

Colonel was a good member.

Most members, like me, who have been here a long time will recall freemason. I dont need to go into detail about him, lets say him came back lots of times with different names....the choas. Enough Said.

I remember this guy from school went out and bought an "always right card in 6th grade" everytime he'd get in a fight with the teacher he'd tell him he's wrong then whip out the card to let him know.. pretty funny.


i'll have to give this to colonel because he had a wide variety of things to bitch about... he knew how to piss people off and he was a walking time bomb...

The most infamous... gotta be a tie between Freemason(and his many personnalities), DragonRider, Wisper in the Dark or that guy I forgot the name, who used to copy entires post and re-post them on other forums, as being his own work.

I kinda missed the lastests hoax from energywave and aussibloke, so I can't really speak about them... Altho I know that they, too, stired up a lot of trouble.

I agree with you on all of those! The guy your thinking of is DreamRebel, copied whole posts and threads onto Unexplained Mysteries I believe.

Sapphire would be another, not really sure what happened to her.

Alot of members have just upped and left without even saying anything. DarkLanser, Zzub and Sapphire all come to mind.

I always wondered what happened to Zzub, he gave me some pointers on ATS when i first joined.

I think i may have been a little infamous when i first started amongst the staff anyway and i think Infinite moaned at me once for posting in NWO about evil poodles taking over the world.

Was that you Infinite? The mod that deleted it had a good moan at me too (well within their rights whoever it was that moaned at me i was being a plonker) what mod was that?

It has to have been the Colonel-- nobody else has been immortalized quite like he has, even in banning.

Hell...He was almost the entire reason behind why I joined....I saw him doing what he did best, which I realize now was just him yanking on our chains on purpose to see what would come of it....I HAD to join to tell his weak ass off....

im not a mod, im just an Forum Expert i do U2U mods if their is problems in the NWO section. I dont think it was me, if it was, i am sorry :shk:
