The shooting took place in the northern Atlantic city of Chamelecon, 125 miles north of the capital, Tegucigalpa, said police spokesman, Deputy Commissioner Wilmer Torres.

"It was an unbelievable massacre," he said in a telephone interview. "We don't know yet who did it."

The bus was driving through the heavily populated neighborhood of San Isidro when a car carrying an unknown number of armed attackers cut in front of it and other assailants fired from behind the bus, Torres said. He said officials did not yet know how many people were aboard the bus.

Honduras' La Prensa newspaper reported on its Web site that the attackers left a written message alluding to the leader of the country's congress, Rep. Porfirio Lobo.

It seems that terror has no end. From terrorist acts against troops in Iraq to drug lords in South America. What will it take for an end to the war on terrorism? Will nations around the world realize that it's not just an attack on United States, but on all civilized cultures. What measures will be taken to combat the rise of terrorist activity worldwide?

Wonder if it was the Morazanist Patriotic Front getting active again. I thought they used to target US facilities/military serviceman, but recall them going after local civilian targets.

I don't recall the French Resistance killing French citizens. If you think murderers who kill innocents are some how freedom fighters you need to have your brain checked. Same with the ones in Iraq.
