This has been reported on the BBC News, and they have kept up the story.

In the UK on January the first, the Freedom of Information Act will be implimented.

It has been repeatedly reported that in the run up to this date government offices have been spending days just feeding the paper shredders.

Is anyone else just stunned at the overt way that this is being done to circumnavigate this new act? Go to the link and have a read. This is just a joke.

"Quick the Freedom of Information act is about to be introduced - BURN EVERYTHING "

.....*Later that day*

Ring, ring. Ring, ring... "Hello? Ohh no, it's been destroyed. If only you had asked earlier, sorry."

What a joke. Sometimes I really wonder just how bad things actually have to get before anything happens.

This government, this Labour government for which I waited since the dark days of Margret Thatcher to see elected discusts me.
