I'm not sure about that prophecy, but I came across this quote today which is interesting...

I'm not sure why skeptics think on the day of X, the world will instantly end. The destruction of this old world starts in phases; the first phase began in 2012, though many are unaware of it. Most are unaware because it is not a physical phase, though if you are equipped with very observant eyes; you can see the small physical changes that results from this 'mental - emotional' phase.

I never thought the world would end approximately on 21st 2012, but I will say this; I believe that date marked the beginning of the end of this current world. I think the more people try to hold fast to this world, the more their bodies, and mental states will suffer. If they do not submit themselves to the new energy that is currently filling the world; which is an energy of peace; they will be removed.

Not by physical destruction, but by their own energy which will contaminate their bodies. I believe this day (9.23) is the second part of that phase. I think there will be some kind of revealing; a certain power restored in those who are humble enough to release the energy of the old world, and embrace the new energy.

But eh, whatevs...

Yes! I've been thinking about that. That's why I've been confused about all of these signals that Pope Francis is the False Prophet. Of course, a False Prophet can still "shepherd his flock"...I guess he just wouldn't be a very righteous shepherd, would he?

Exactly. This is why it bugs me when I try to share information with people about 9/23, they instantly come back with "we don't know the exact day or hour" verse from the Bible. I believe that statement applies to when Jesus will return, not necessarily a cataclysm that leads up to it. By all accounts, the world isn't ending with this 9/23-24 event. The Bible does say that God will pour out his spirit on his prophets (and that probably includes ordinary people, too) so they may speak prophetically. I believe that is what we have been witnessing (not just the 9/23 clues in the media, but all the visions and dreams people have testified to having, including myself).

Benedict is not dead. Perhaps they both have flocks to shepherd?

Whether you believe in a rapture or not, it is clear there will be believers here during the last years right up until Christ sets foot on the Mt. of Olives. Perhaps Francis is the one and Benedict is the other and both will have their flocks to shepherd - sheep and goats. Who can say?

That being said, it could simply be that Francis is misguided and has lost his way and is being used, and will rediscover his purpose but almost too late.

As this IS a conspiracy site, here I go...

Benedict was and is a strict theologian. I cannot imagine Benedict chiming in on Climate Change, addressing the UN, loosening Church dogma on annullments, etc. Francis is all that which makes him a good fit for NWO. Benedict would speak against such a world government.

I believe that the "end" clock started ticking at the time of Benedicts' unseating.

But that is just me. The next weeks shall be interesting.

Francis is a product of Latin American Liberation Theology which attempts to reconcile Marxist ideals with Christian Theology, so I am not one bit surprised by what he's doing and saying.

I think he's wrong, but since I'm not a Catholic, it's not something I have to worry about in my church.

As far as I'm concerned, Jesus was no politician and not at all concerned with political systems, and any attempt to marry the two things is simply attempting to marry scripture to your own personal agenda. I know people will henpeck me on that, but there is a fine line between being strong in your faith and using it as the foundation for you principles and turning Jesus into a political shill.

Yes, I have thought about that. I downloaded that Skyfall track on my iPhone when it first came out. Even before I realized anything about these 9/23 clues, I thought this might be some kind of prophetic message. I hadn't made the connection to the water and drowning though. The lyrics themselves bring all this into sharp relief:

Next week will be interesting for sure, even if nothing happens. After weeks/months buildup, it will finally be here. Anything that happens will make the doom aficienados speculate.

So we are on the verge of coming into the week when something or nothing will be revealed. I myself had strange feelings over the last couple of weeks but strange because I suddenly stopped anticipating it like nothing is going to happen. And this is unusal for me since I was eager to see every past "prophecy" come to pass only to see nothing had happened. Whether or not it is a sign that something will happen or myself being fed up with all these past claims we are yet to see.

I think I`m prepared for whatever happens or nothing at all. Or at least I think I am so that has to count for something

Also know one thing which is that if nothing happens, this has to be a part of media programing agenda due to so many 9/23 appearances. Something else has crossed my mind lately and that is that because so many people are falling for this message, this could also just be a news/series/films promotion. But because the date appeared many times in media in the past I`m not so sure this is indeed a promotion. Thoughts were also going towards what exactly are they programing us for? That is if programing in progress is really what is happening here. So I guess we`ll have to wait and see....

Personally I can't wait for the 1st October and all the back tracking that will commence on this thread.....Skyfall?...Adele?.....really?

I'll save you the suspense. 1) If nothing happens, we still have the withering mystery of the source and purpose of all of these predictive programming clues, and 2) many of us, including myself, are now much more aware of the rise of the Beast system. We've learned a great deal about these things which six months ago were barely more than passing curiosities, and we've helped other people (friend and family) become aware in the process, and 3) I daresay many of us have by now taken the time to prepare ourselves (or improve our preparations) for run-of-the-mill natural disasters, which is a good thing.

For #2 and #3 alone, this thread has been worth the effort, IMHO. So there will be no back tracking. Only the push forward for more knowledge and greater awareness of what may come.
