I came across this documentary, just thought I'd share it. Any fans of Tubular Bells and/or Mike Oldfield might find it interesting.

We weren't allowed to like this song. Oh its a great piece, but it was issued with the Devil. Opening night, the big screen, unedited version, you had to be there. People ran from the theatre, they issued barf bags…

My mate runs his fan club and gets to see him a couple times of the year says he is a stand up bloke.

Was interesting to learn of origins of this unique music

I first heard "TB" on my older brother's Pioneer stereo system, through an awesome set of earphones

Couldn't get enough of it

Despite not posting in the music forum much I am actually a massive music fan.

I really enjoy some of Oldfield's stuff as it's great mood music.

I also think his "Songs Of Distant Earth" album from 20 years ago is a much under-rated one.

I even recorded my own version of this quite some years ago because I liked it so much.
