They cant fight we've effectively killed all their military aged men, thats why when i hear of isis take overs im not surprised they take over citys filled with women and children.

That's something I had not taken into consideration... Thanks for pointing that out. Though, to just give up though? I mean, it's their homeland. I don't see many old timers state side willing to just roll over if they were to come here.

But aren't you worried that Obama is talking in opposites?

No. I have better things to do with my time. If he changes his mind, then we can talk. Until then, It's a waste of energy to dwell on.

Watch for an unforeseen "event" to trigger a massive invasion soon.

Or the most likely outcome will be that ISIS and the Iraqis duke it out for a while and if they cannot get control of the situation, Iran will step in. That is a much more desirable outcome.

As far as an "unforeseen event", that delves too far in to the kiddee pool than I am willing to go. A massive invasion is not going to happen again for ISIS.

Maybe our time and energies would be better spent helping with a "three state solution". It might be the only viable plan for Iraq.

ISIS can go to hell.

What are a bunch of old people and a few military aged men, and women and children gonna do? I'll tell you what they'll do, same thing I'd do move back regroup fight and live another day.

They are no match and the ones who stay take their chances and assimilate into the monster We know as Isis, I'll tell you the answer and its not a pretty one, bomb them and anyone they have taken over until firestorm. Then move ground troops back in and secure the place for another 100 years until it resembles Germany.

If we ain't gonna have the reslove to do that, than we shouldn't complain about the genocide and mass rape taking place at unprecedented scale, we should then just let them grow into the monster we will one day be forced to deal with.

Does make me wonder how many mothers would have kept their sons had we of struck Nazi Germany in it's infancy.

This is all so damned ridiculous. Order out of Chaos....Does ANYONE understand the reality here? my gawd it makes my head hurt

We know about the chaos but what next?

Next is that the conspirators who plotted this “order out of chaos” will intervene in some way after a lot of bloodletting

Seems to me they want destruction out of chaos

The ME just turning into a cauldron of war, sectarian savagery, and nuclear weapons entering the scene.

There already in the throes of savage chaos that the US has planed and succeeded in bringing about.

That's what the evidence mostly appears to indicate

The plan probably is to get a crazy GOP president to have Armageddon

Bush destroyed the economy

Obama is destroying the world

" That said, if the Iraqis themselves have no will nor desire to fight ISIS, then why the hell should we? Especially seeing how WE ARE BROKE AND DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO TAKE CARE OF THE DAMAGED VETS FROM THE PREVIOUS WARS, LET ALONE FIELD MORE INTERVENTION AND THUS, MORE WOUNDED WARRIORS TO KICK OUT ON THE STREETS."

Uh , lets see , we could then possibility see a Dominant Nuclear Fanatical Islamic State like Iran ,threatening it's Neighbor States with with Nuclear Weapon Strikes into their Sovereign Territory because of their possible Refusal of Political and Religious Demands . Yeah Well , a Stable " Middle East " that ain't Amigo...........

People never want to talk about the money.

Well unless it is a social program, then we are up in arms about it.

There are plenty of military aged men in Iraq, the problem is in a splintered fractured community with a weak, very unpopular government put in place in part by foreign governments. This is a cultural battle between Shia and Sunni sects of Islam. The majority of Iraq are Sunni, the new government is mostly Shia - Isis is Sunni aligned, and do indeed receive support from some Sunni populations, especially those who felt abandoned and persecuted by the new Shia government. The problems in Iraq will not be solved by sending in troops to kill Iraqis - The Sunnis and Shias need to come together and find a better solution to their constant sectarian violence, and they're the ones to solve it - not just Iraqis, but Syrians, Iranians, Saudis' etc.

I hope to hell that the Kurds gain some land to call their own out of this.
Saddam Hussein persecuted them. Turkey still does.
The Kurds are the only group that seems to be able to take the fight to ISIS.

Hmm... Lets See , Shia and Sunni Sects are Both Believers in the Sacred Teachings of Mohammad , yet they Differ in the Interpretations of his Holy Word in the Koran . Sounds just Like a Difference of Opinion between a Catholic and Protestant , but in their case , they Don't Freakin' Try to Kill Each Other on a Daily Basis . Geez , isn't Life just so Ironic Sometimes ? Makes you wonder if this Crap Continues into the " After Life " , eh ? I Freakin' Hope Not...........

Yea there a plenty of them, in the ranks of Isis. Over 50% of their population is children and teenagers under 20 , the hardens veterans are mostly gone joined ranks, or fled.

We can prop up the Kurds but then the Turks will be pissed and all the local governments there because for decades or centuries they have been oppressing the Kurds.

But I say give them what it takes to at least save themselves

What seems to be the case is that there is really no plan for any unified command to fight ISIS

Any military planner would tell you this:

ISIS is surrounded by at least 6 armies plus the US.

Only those low dogs in Turkey you can’t count on since they are obviously helping ISIS

Why not unify these(6) groups and just go ahead and beat the sh__ out of ISIS

I will answer this myself.

That isn’t being done because there IS NO LEADERSHIP

6 Armies:
Iraqis
Kurds
Shia militias
Iranians
Syrians
Sunni Tribes
US bombing

Now you’re telling me all these forces can’t ally together to beat this common enemy?

I’ll answer this one also

No they can’t because the US, Iranian and US, Syrian conflict prevents this.

As well the Turks

As well as the hard headed Iranians and Shia sectarians

Though primarily it’s on the US

Obama doesn’t have the leadership capacity (either because he is under orders or is just a jack-ass) to unite these forces.

Or he is deliberately not interested in solving this through some sinister conspiracy

That's hilarious, create and fund ISIS. Then don't fight them in any way whatsoever. If anything he's helping them.

It’s clear as day to see and all these scumbags in the US, Obama, in Turkey, Erdogan, and the Gulf States oil Sheiks are all in on this sinister mass murder just to get rid of Assad

These leaders are playing bloody chess with human beings.

There no human beings as foul as these leaders

Just think about the 5000 American troops who died( FOR NOTHING) for this bloodfest, THIS HOLLYWOOD MURDER YARN ( gee imagine all the movies they'll get out of this ISIS bloodbath)of these demonic leaders and not to mention the million Iraqis AND THOSE DYING NOW FOR SOME STRATEGIC PLAN.

WE NEED A WORLD WIDE REVOLUTION!

Problem with the world wide revolution, is most folks couldnt care for themselves long enough to wipe their asses with a leaf. I can identify over 500 wild plants vastly more propagated...so what would you have people do...once the "successful" revolt is over. My family is going to be just fine barring bigger guns then we have...but what about you and others that more than likely still buy your food?
