Bounty hunter: "I had to come back."

Josey Wales: " I know. "

Notice how everyone breathes a sigh of relief when the bounty hunter leaves, except Josey's Indian buddy. He knows the bounty hunter's
gonna come back.

Sean Connery's character in this film was the coolest.

"Captain John Patrick Mason, general sir, of Her Majesty's SAS. Retired of course."

"....general, sir. Personally, I think you're a f'n idiot."

The FBI director warned everybody what Mason was capable of.
He was the ultimate spy\soldier\commando\badass. Cooler than James Bond.

Hmm. Loads to choose from. Tom Cruise in MI was supposed to be tough it was just funny. "You don't want to see me upset." Bwahahahahaha...... The toughest one I can think of was from Trading Places:

I know you asked for movies but I feel Breaking Bad and more specifically the character of Walter White had so many tough guy lines during the series that it warrants being mentioned.

The clip below takes what are considered to be the 5 best and plays them out over 3 mins. For me number 1 is as good as it gets on TV.. Two actors and a story teller at their peaks..Great delivery and the subtle way that Walt's tone changes as he delivers the focus of his line.

***** SPOILERS IN THIS CLIP ****

"I'm your huckleberry."

Tho val Kilmer killed that roll and line, what the hell does it mean lol?

Huckleberry Finn was Tom Sawyer's best pal and go-to tough guy in the stories by Mark Twain. I haven't bothered looking up to see if the reference is anachronistic in Tombstone though.

Fun thread.

Although the whole film was a bit of a let down, the character Rorshach was a highlight, particularly the canteen scene (go to 1min 50s in clip), very entertaining

I have two great lines in one film to offer, the film is the running man, starring arnold swartzanegger, the first line comes where him and his female co star are on the run from the athoroties and they are in her appartment, he concocts a plan of escape using her as cover and she argues that its a bad plan, he pushes her onto a bolted down multi gym bristling with wieghts then as she's laid on the bench she spits "why should i help you anyway" to which arnie replys "Because i said PLEASE" As he grips the bench and tears it out of the floor with her still on it. The second line is later in the film as arnie is rampageing his way through the running man game, after brutaly defeating another baddie he tears a huge camera from the ceiling and points it to his face, then with all the tv audience watching he yells into the camera at the shows host "Killion, you can eat your goddam contract, but i hope you leave enough room for my fist cos im going to RAM it into your stomach and break ya goddam spine" arnie's accent makes these tough guy lines sound great

"The fact that you've got "Replica" written down the side of your guns...and the fact that I've got "Desert Eagle point five O" written on the side of mine...should precipitate your balls into shrinking, along with your presence. Now... F*** off!
