I thought this bit of text very singular, while not intriguing,

"including OBL's elimination at the hands of SEAL Team Six directed from the orders issued by President George W. Bush."

Does anyone get the dichotomy in all of this in more ways than one?
A colouring book for primary children, full of detailed text, debatably beyond their ken bar a, "Never forget" headline.

Please somebody tell me that this bookypedia is not yet in a primary school curriculum!

Yea, because banning books, or making their possession illegal is the absolute epitome of freedom of speech.

But since we're talking about books that encourage religiously motivated violence I hope that you actively seeking to ban ALL religious texts.

AMAZING

US propaganda used to be complex and subtle but this is just blatant and vulgar.

When 9/11 rolls around I explain to my 6 year old "9/11 is when some bad guys hijacked some planes and flew them into buildings and killed a bunch of people. And at the very least our government let it happen. They may have even caused it to happen."

The only people sicker than the ones creating this crap are the ones who give it to children.

I remember that day. I was in college. I went into the local coffee shop and everyone was staring at the TV. I go "What's going on?" "Someone crashed a plane into the Pentagon." I answered "Good." (I was half asleep and didn't realize it was a passenger plane)

Later in class when I found out the scope of what was happening I cried. "They let this happen." I knew it, even with all the confusion going on. I can't say the extent of our government's involvement....but at the very least they let it happen.

I can only hope that karma is real and it's as much of a bitch as they say.

And the other subtitles on Russia, Korea etc....pure politic indoctrination. Could have written current Leadership of Russia etc. Now small kids think russians are exporter of hatred and evil and all Koreans (Not even North/South differentiation!!!) are murderers. Yes the do not write it but the kids will connect this to the whole nations..

This book is to strike fear in the hearts of young children and indoctrinate them for future political usefullness. What type of human do you have to be to buy smth. like this for your kid???

The propaganda around 9/11 has now reached epic proportions if we have "Graphic coloring books" for the kids.

We're constantly lied to, the kids are constantly lied to, but the truth is in 'Plane Site'.

Today's 18 year olds that just graduated high school a couple weeks ago were 4 years old when 9/11 happened. Literally their entire school life and everything they remember has been a post 9/11 atmosphere.

To put this in perspective, I was born in 1982, the Kennedy assassination and the changes that brought about were nearly as long before I was born as 9/11 was before todays brand new soldiers.

Good post and spot on buddy. A van of dancing Israel men and the fact they talked about invading Iraq long before this happened really make me wonder what the heck is going on........Building 7 coming down is another.

People don't remember it these days but almost every single person I ever spoke to believed Bush would attack Iraq if he were elected, the very popular belief post 2000 election was that we would be going to war to get revenge for the attempted assassination against his dad.

You know what would make a great thread like this? The school books given to children in Palestine and Saudi Arabia which clearly categorize Jewish people as less than human. But I'm guessing that since that wouldn't be bashing America we'll never see that thread. . .

I'm sorry but I have absolutely no recollection of that whatsoever. None. Once talk of it started, yes revenge came up among many people. But when he was elected? No, it was not being talked about as I recall.

That image is downright creepy. Looking through the thread you linked it from (I wasn't aware of this image) it seems it was copyrighted in October 2001. That means it was likely submitted for copyright before 9/11 which means it was drawn before 9/11.

The only thing I don't understand in that image is the soccer ball.

After he was elected it was all people could talk about. The drums of war started right away, if anything 9/11 delayed the attack on Iraq.

Note that all of this was later confirmed by Bush's administration who have said goal #1 on him taking office was to attack Iraq it was just a question of how to make such an attack legal.

During the election itself from what I remember (I was only 17 during the campaign and didn't follow politics all that heavily) all the talk centered around Bush's stimulus plan. Vote for him and get a few hundred dollars.
