Science always has to make it seem more than it is, to sex it up a bit.

This should be able to stand on its own merits as a great discovery.

Ah, but will they let it tell it's story? Or will they use it to back the story they're telling us?
Without going in to long detail, there's something about the story they tell us concerning our history that just doesn't fit. I realize we are still piecing together the history of the human race, but it seems they have a habit of throwing away or ignoring the pieces that don't fit the popular narrative.

The thing is almost three metres tall and is thought to contain several faces (ringed in the image). If wood wasn't so biodegradable and burnable, I think we'd be finding carved wooden objects that predate this one by tens of thousands of years. It was clearly something totemic and makes me wonder if it served as a territorial or tribal signpost to signify ownership of the gold mining operation? The height would ensure it was visible at some distance. Perhaps it was decorated with colourful fabrics or painted?

What intrigues me is the height of the thing, why so tall, except as they say it might contain information. For many the writing on the clay tablets made no sense until it was deciphered so perhaps we will be lucky, though I suspect vested interest will try to interfere.

again with the ancient gold mines! if they were so primitive then what was their use for gold? metallurgy was used for what way beck then? rhetorical questions.

I don't think the details of the context matter at this point. this is one more thing that has to get people wrapping their heads around the fact things ain't what they seem. a written language is no small matter- it implies a lot just on face value.

It is interesting that it is so tall, thin and with an ovular head. Almost makes me envision a super tall grey wearing a cloak or robes if you will. Interesting none the less but sadly the establishment would most likely never tell us the true meanings of the findings but instead something that backs up their claims.

Perhaps it was a "water level post" used to measure the tide. The different types of pattern indicate the flow pattern of the water currents depending on the tide. I've lived next to a tidal river. At low tide, you would see the mud, at high tide, there would be strong currents. In between, there would be times where the water was traveling in two directions at the same time. Depending on the location in the world, the tidal range can be as little as 1 meter or as much as 5 meters with3 meters being average.

Got hard into OOParts for a year or so awhile back. I couldn't find one that was for real what the conspiracy crowd claimed it was. Not one.

You do have the fact that the biggest things we (humanity) have ever moved were at civilizations beginning. Like Baalbek and others. I wouldn't doubt if there were civilizations advanced as Alexander the greats lost to history. Hell, I wouldn't be suprised if there were countless Stone Age cultures, some not ape based forgotten as well.


But NONE of the Oopparts that are put forward by anchient aliens or whoever else are as advertised. If you look them up they are fairly easily explained. People who want money pretend they are more then they ever were.


If I'm wrong please some one please list them. I would love to find something that actually is amazing, but it's all been hyped garbage.
