I understand now! The FBI and NSA missed the Boston bombing while watching an infidel in Chattanooga. Keep us from giving the CAIR folks a taste of their own medicine, hmmm! Do you think that they had planned to build a church on the site of the mosque that they destroyed like Islamist do?

Please, don't get me wrong. I'm not advocating hurting anyone. I just want our government to actively pursue the enemy both foreign or domestic...like the oath of office says. And want to make it perfectly clear to Jihadis here that you are starting to bring the ire of the average American.

Embrace your religion and all its' solis it brings you. That's your right here in the US. You, however, do not have the right to impose your religion on the infidels here. You do not have any right to kill any infidel you find offensive here in the US. There is no right to not be offended here. If you find this problematic, please, go from whence you came! Sharia is not the law of the land here and never will be!

The question is, was he a real credible terrorist or simply loony-tunes who talked a lot?

Erm......BOTH. ALL credible terrorists are loony-tunes, whether all they do is talk a lot or strap on bomb vests.

My guess is because He's a Christian attacking Muslims here in America and most importantly because he's also an ex-congressional candidate.

It's one thing to have some normal person go all religiously nuts and attack people, but when he's also an ex-lawmaker that makes those in the system look bad. Or look worse anyway, since they already look pretty bad now. But to have one of their own go crackers all of a sudden with so many more like him in office is super hinky if ya know what I mean.

For example, I can see Gordon Klingenschmitt, Bobby Jindal, Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee about one good drinking binge away from doing this too.

That seems highly unlikely. There have been many, many times when various Christians have made headline news for bad behavior, and when politicians have done the same. Both together, just a bigger and juicier headline. The media isn't exactly friendly toward Christians or conservative values these days. Based on past headlines, I just don't see those as reasons we wold not hear about this in the mainstream media. Hence, it's weird.

You could be right but like you say, both Christians and Conservatives being both open targets for the media I don't know what else would be special about this guy that would keep them silent.

Maybe it's because it's happening here in the U.S. this time and against women and children that they are keeping it on the down low so it doesn't inflame people too much here in the homeland. With all the riots we've been having lately maybe they don't want to set off yet another power keg especially one that might join the local community with the other large groups of poor and disgruntled masses that are already about to blow.

Perhaps, there is still more to the investigation surrounding this guy and his crew of minions that is still ongoing right now so they're keeping the media out of the middle of it until they get a better handle on the entire thing.

That's about the only reasons I can come up with because it's a major story. In comparison, if this guy had been a Muslim and planning the same thing and had a crew together, weapons and the rest, and they caught him, this would be blowing up the news channels day and night non stop.

I don't know, but it seems like there has to be some reason that we don't yet now, for why this hasn't hit the big media sources. Unless it somehow just missed going out to the wire services, and was missed. Seems unlikely, but possible. I'd like to believe the media and authorities would do all they could to not encourage more rioting, but considering what we see all the time, I have a hard time with that one. Maybe there really is more to the story, so those investigating somehow deliberately kept it off the wire services. That's the most likely possibility that I see. Weird, any way you cut it. This should be major news. We see this sort of thing from Muslims with some regularity, which you'd think would make this a story, simply because he isn't Muslim.

It's got me curious. At least they caught the guy.

Sadly, Christian extremism is more prominent than we ever hear about and almost never in the MSM.

Kony anyone? Lords Resistance Army (LRA)?....But I think you need Oil, white folks dying and Islam to make a story..

Here is a bit of a follow up on this.

Christian Terrorism Plot Not Newsworthy, Targets Were Muslim

It's more of an opinion piece than a follow-up. Maybe valid, maybe not. I still think there may be some reason we haven't yet heard which wold be why it's not getting more attention.

Opinion, but nothing proven. I did find it interesting that the guy states that "right wing groups" are responsible for more terrorism, and doesn't mention that many classify Muslims as "right wing" since they are religious.

I would call the Islamist terrorists and the Christian warmongers (ALL control freaks) - right wing groups.

It's the firmly, staunchly traditional, opposed-to-change, closed-minded attitude that denotes an "extreme right-winger".
Strangely enough.

But many people don't really understand what "right-leaning" and "left-leaning" are all about -
or how they have shifted positions over the centuries.

Exactly, and the terms don't always really describe the various groups, either. It's more like they are used to stir up trouble between various groups than to actually define any particular one.

So no one's concerned that there's a place in America called Islamberg?!

That is a lot more disturbing to me, wait until they have them all over the US then they will start trying to force the rest of us to follow their extremism.

Nope, it's just you and a bunch of right wing religious conspiracy theorists who are concerned apparently. Local law enforcement say they've been out there multiple times and have seen nothing at all to support the idea that they are up to anything nefarious.

You know there are also "China Towns" all over the place too. Does that mean we should consider all Chinese People to be radicals and terrorists too???

Mormons basically have the entire state of Utah and have a huge following too. Should we be concerned about them???

Unless you have some evidence that shows Islamburg to be a dangerous place which is producing terrorists then I'd say there is nothing to be concerned about. Rather than looking for an enemy who isn't there, you should be worried about other people who have bought into too much propaganda and are planning on murdering an entire town full of innocent people like the one in this OP.
