BTW, I would opt for the martial arts instead of ballet, too. YOu would learn skill and grace and learn how to defend yourself as well..

I think given the chance women can be more violent and brutal than men - generalizing that men are all savagely barbaric just because all the wars were fought by men doesn't justify it. Even Joan of Arc was very brutal killer and so are many other women that were given the chance to fight or power! Most wars in medieval times were fought over women or for them, violence is not some inherent trait in the male of the species alone it is universal in both the sexes. Women are inherently just as brutal as men are but due to their exposure they have turned out different.

Cool, cool... Last thing I wanted to do was give insult or anything like that, towards women.

Ideally, my daughter will someday be like Sarah Connor in Terminator 2, except perhaps sane, and not chased by evil cyborgs.

Oh, and if I succeed in taking over the world, as planned, and my daughter turns out to be a better leader than my son, guess who the world will get turned over to, once I die? People might just get to see what it's like for women to rule the world.

I guess i'm fine, but I remember I was in a foreign city on my way to see my mom,trying to leave the gas station, my stick shift became locked, I could turn the car on, but the steering wheel locked up, the gear shift locked up, I was screwed... I had to call a tow truck and take it to a shop.. They couldn't even figure it out.. what did he have to do? remove the screw that kept the top and side button on... Some things men and women just cannot do...

ps: why would you want to take over the world? and what makes you think people won't view you or your daughter as insane?? someone who wants to take over the world is insane imo... unless of course you are just joking.. leave the world alone so individuals can flourish and prosper... controlling people, lives and lifestyles suck... what does it get you?? the only thing I can think of is a hard on.

I have no problem with a world run by women, i would think it would be a more thoughtful world which would be a good thing. I don�t think women are fearful, some are, but there are plenty that are not. There are more women these days that will kick you butt better then some men. There are plenty of warrior women throughout history.

My biggest fear would be that some women might take advantage of their new position and prejudice against men. Women might say, well why not, after all that�s what men have done, but that's not the attitude and i think if women do start to take more of a leading role within the world, they should be careful to watch for this kind of woman. Women can be very unpleasant, cold and wicked.

Women, being essentially right-brain dominant, are more concerned with process than they are with outcome.

If women were completely in power, you would see such behavioral constraints as would tie society in total knotted totalitarianism, almost without regard for outcomes.

It would be awful. They would want everybody to act nice and not bother anything--never mind the hard choices and difficult tasks.

I hope and pray I am never subject to such a way of organizing society, with the doers on the bottom and the takers on the top.

Life needs to be more balanced and fair than that.

From what I understand, women work best for social relationships, while men do their best when it comes to task relationships. Not only that women are better with multiple tasks.

Instead of giving all the power to men or women, we could try and give power to them equally.

1st of all, the mere belief that they feel the need to "take over" the world is something to be suspicious of. I personally am all for a world jointly ran by men and women. Another thing is the problem I have with women and "minorities" all together (and I dont mean all of them) always dwelling in a "woe is me" frame of mind. This country is not as discriminative as they believe. Granted there are areas where discrimination still prevails, but everyone equally has experienced unfair and unequal treatment. You tell me areas that men make more money at jobs and Ill show you jobs that men dont get. Areas where black people are discriminated against, and I will introduce you to Detroit. Further more, prove your case and change the outcome, more and more laws and tolerances are made for equality and fairness for women and minorities all the time, follow the right channels and you will undoubtedly win your case. I have never went to school with anyone that didnt have the same opportunities to learn that I did, I have never had a job that anyone got paid differently for. When you go to your interview and they tell you what they will pay you, dont take the job if you think it isnt fair. If you think it is fair, why do you concern yourself with what anyone else is making? Most of the time when people complain or cry inequality, they are the person doing a job for less because they have less schooling, experience, or lack in comparison, than the person they compare themself to. Granted there are exceptions, but as a general rule, things are fairer than the whiners want us to believe. I am tired of being demonized for being a white man, when expections are higher of me in society because of attitudes like those of the so called oppressed! Now I had to wait 10 years to get into where I work, while GM hired women and minorities the whole time! I dont have a white scholorship program, I dont get maternity leave, or get to go home because I have cramps, I had to score higher on the skilled trades tests than women or minorities, because the scoring scale is higher for white men than it is for women or minorities. I get wrote up when I dont do my job right because I cant use the discrimination crutch to get out of trouble. I get tickets when I get pulled over, because I cant cry or bat my eyes to get out of it. I think you get my picture.
Truth be known, women, of all people, have the most power in the world simply because of their sex. Many more women in the world that sleep there way to the top, than men-and once they get there they discriminate worse than they were discriminated against, because their lack of hormone balance make them percieve their hardships as much worse than they were, and they act more emotionally than practically (as you will probably see from the slamming remarks I am sure I will recieve from this post).
I once wrote a paper on how the "liberation" of women ruined our country. My teacher gave me a bad grade and said it was discriminative, so I debated with her that it wasn't bigoted in any way, it was a simple observation. I ended up in the principles office where she told my teacher that I was right, and made her try to read it objectively, without taking it personally. My teacher then told me she didn't like it, but found it to be true, even if it didnt seem to be right. My mother hated my position on this topic too, and I couldnt get her to see it objectively. This is a prime example of reacting emotionally, and thinking that I was cheauvanistic, when I merely made an observation and expressed it. Practically, my teacher and mother should have been objective and not defensive. They would have seen the case that I presented, which was basically; that before "womens lib" women predominantly played the role as homemaker and teacher/caregiver to the family. Men labored for the means to provide a living for the family and the protection as well. Results were, morally sound children, less crime, and because only half the population worked, there were more jobs, and the value of a good performing employee was usually rewarded with better pay, meaning that the man could more than provide for his family. Both husband and wife took pride in their accomplishments, and life was much simpler. Children did better in school and eventually in life. People aspired for more wholesome lives.
This was the life of the average family, and in countries where the mutual respect still existed, the same successes were shared.
Objectively, one would read this and see the truth in it, emotionally, one might take offense. Sorry, but I don't mask my feelings to save yours, when it comes to my freedom of expression. Who knows, maybe I am just a deranged jerk! You can judge me all you want, and how you judge me will determine how you are judged in turn by others.

Well, I don't really want to hijack the thread, and starting a new thread on the subject would be self-aggrandizing, so I think instead I'll start a blog. Gimme a head start, or U2U me so I won't forget, and once it's up, I'll U2U you with the URL.

I think most women are better planners and organizers than men. Because thier job as mom from sometimes a young age has put them in a position of leadership, on a small scale. While dad is busy busting his ... to pay the bills doing some monotonous job doing exactly what he is told, mom is steady learning to be in charge and in command of her children kind of like a drill seargent. She knows a lot more about whats going on in the kids lives than dad does. Moms have been the ones for centurys who have fought off the wolves at home while dad was out hunting for food. (One little measley task). Since she had the milk it was necessary for her to stay home with the young. Men being the stronger of the two made it necesary for him to be the warrior and hunter.

The point is that nature has dictated to us that women and men through years and years of living and learning, have developed different skills. The woman has had to prepare for the whole family day in and day out, while dad is mainly concerned with his own little pet projects.

I'm not sure if women ruled the world if it would be any different. Who's to say they don't? You can make all the rules you want to. Unless someone monitors every single action of every single person, rules will not be carried out 100%, justice will not be the same for every single person.

If you guys are serious and think you can do it better why are you throwing HIllary out as your great hope?

I don't know the fact that the average woman would vote for Hillary because she is a woman, and not bother to look at what she was either at the least indirectly involved in or worse yet completelly oblivious of says it all. Hillary Clinton is a traitor to everything america is supposed to stand for along with her Husband billy bob, worse yet she is a viper and primarilly uses her votes to curry more power not stand firm on issues.
Second of all like alot of white males I am so f-ing sick of everyone and their dogs screaming discrimination. There is no american caucasian college fund, I have been denied multiple jobs because I wasn't a minority or a woman even though I was better qualified and scored MUCH higher on the aptitude tests. I've also been told I couldn't be hired because I needed to know spanish and or blatantly been told that they only hire mexicans/latin americans I have news for people the legal language of the US is English if you don't speak it you shouldn't be working here. Also it is only discrimination when someone denies a minority or a woman, but when us white guys get passed over for jobs etc that we are the most qualified and capable of doing we're supposed to just shut up and take it?
I am not racist I am not anything I have mexican friends black friends asian friends and primarilly female friends. I am just sick of people crying over their mistakes and asking us to not only make them equal but level the playing field for them by making it easier for them. I am all for equality it is this whole affrimative action you persecuted us so now we deserve a break sh-- that has to go.

Bottom line: You want to be equal quit bi---ing be one of the multitudes of women/minorities graduating from school and always keep firm in your mind that merit not an x or y chromosome or white or black skin should determine how high you can go.

i will once again ask this question..........why does ONE gender have to "rule" the world? in fact why should anyone rule the world? makes no sense to me.

I guess you can thank Marxist "war of classes" rhetoric for that one. Basically every civic rights/emancipation movement of the 20th century had a radical left-wing faction who applied marxist theories to their own cause. Feminism included. Just replace "working class dictature" by "matriarchal dictature".

Why would some thinks that one gender, race or class should "rule" the world always comes back to the same: they think they could do better than current rulers. Plain and simple.

Yes and no.

Women have the choice to do as they please in America today, but when provided the opportunity to break out of their "roles", they don't always take it.

Women are built differently then men. Not better or worse, but more streamlined and yet more conviluded than men are.

Because of society, women have adopted men's practices in part.

But at best, we will reach a point to where we will be able to fill the role we want.

Example: I married a woman who didn't want to work. She wanted to stay home and cook for me. I don't do laundry or dishes and I rarely cook.

I like that, but some would be shocked.

It's mother nature for the female to look after their children whilst the male goes to work. Any wild animal is like this, the male hunts whilst the female looks after their children. In humans, the man goes to work whilst the woman stays at home and looks after their children. Why change mother nature?
