You mean like a recent ATS thread about a Russian coup? I beg to differ. Some of us, it seems, were the wiser. It's surprising what critical thinking can accomplish. Try it sometime.

Why? Because the public did not have any way to verify the authenticity of the incidents actually occuring which were being boradcast at the time.
