Some planes have landing lights that are in sets of three:

These bright non-blinking landing lights can sometimes be seen 20 miles away, and if the plane is heading in a direction generally toward the observer, they can appear to hover almost motionless for several minutes, or even have a slight side-to-side apparent motion. They are often also silent (unless they get closer) because of their distance from the observer.

Kind of looks like a helicopter, I only say that because the brightest light is white, while the other looks bluish according to the camera but flickers a lot...too fast for a strobe, the other very dim light is only in a few frames and appears white. Only thing is that there is no apparent strobe, which should be there. I take it that there was no zoom in use at the time since the OP didn't see anything. As for the OP seeing nothing, I need to say I don't buy that so much.

You definitely caught something and I believe your story. No...honestly.
It's frustrating trying to get people to believe in something you have personally seen and have no explanation for.

I was the biggest skeptic regarding UFO's and any related phenomena up until recently.
My mindset was, until I had seen something that totally convinced me of something other than this known reality existing on this planet, I was not willing to believe.

That time has passed.

I wish I could see it again.

I agree with you. Good video OP!!

At first it was uninteresting, then the light abruptly disappeared. That caught my attention. The sudden appearance of the 3rd light was even more interesting.

I do think it is of interest and NOT a plane.

Thanks for your responses!

To Soylent Green Is People and smurfy: if it were a plane or a helicopter, I'm sure I would have heard or seen that. And there's no airport nearby. It was totally quiet outside, except for the train going by (there's train tracks real close).
The only thing I saw, were the stars.
At first I though, it may have been a satellite, but then I was told, my camera is not able to take pictures of satellites or stars. So, that's why I have been wrecking my brain over this.

To Blue Shift: Thats a neat picture, thanks!

To Gunsmoke38 and Ultralight: Thanks, I really dont know what to think! My rational mind keeps saying, it has to have a rational explanation, it just cant be...

forgot: no, no zoom. I can not zoom while filming only when taking pictures.
My camera is a Casio Exilim

@justbe:

May I ask why you disabled viewing this video outside of youtube.com?

Because that is what youtube is telling me while not showing the embedded video.

More moneyz to be made by ads, buddy?

Yeah! I'm gonna be a millionaire soon with that one video!

I made the video unlisted because I didnt want it to be in the general public. I didnt know that means it cant be viewed outside of youtube, just that it needed a link. I hesitated for months, even registering here and I really didnt feel comfortable opening a youtube account but I couldnt upload the video here directly.
I like my privacy and I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to the internet. I actually wanted to make the video private but then nobody could have watched it. I didnt put any ads in that video, dont even know how and I'm definitely not making any money at all.

All the stuff that interests me and that I have experienced are things I can not discuss with anybody in my real life, so I finally got myself to become a member somewhere, where I can talk about things before my head explodes.

Thats all. Not looking for fame and fortune here.

well taken, it looks unusual to me. good to know you are not near an airport. how about military bases?

I checked it and there is small base about 35miles north. I look out west when I look out the window. And they usually fly out north over the ocean so they shouldnt come towards me but then again, they could be flying anywhere.
Still doesnt explain why I didnt see or hear anything. I doubt they have any secret projects going on.
But, yes, it's a possibility.

Hi again justbe

I have stabilised as much as possible, and slowed down your video and converted it to a 'Gif' file. I tried to bring up the exposure but it didn't reveal any more detail. The interesting thing is changing from 2 to 3 lights. I have enhanced it as much as possible without introducing artefacts.

Lights in the sky are really frustrating but this one does show some unusual behaviour.

ETA: This is looping by the way for anyone who has been watching it for a few hours

WOW thats really cool, thank you kennyb72!

Yes, lights in the night sky are especially frustrating. The other night I saw a star flying casually all across the sky, from one end to another (as fas as I can see) and then it stopped and disappeared.
And I just found another short video (I film a lot lately, trying to catch this thing again) but all there is to see very briefly is a tiny sparkling light (much smaller than these).
And I also saw three things in bright day light, each of them different, all in a 10 mile radius (all three times I didnt have a camera and I dont have a smartphone) within the last two and a half months.

So, either I'm going crazy or else.

Hi justbe, here is the other video enlarged 200% and slowed down to a little over half speed. I can't swear that I haven't introduced artefacts because I really had to tease out the light on this one. Whatever it is it appears to be spinning and even before I intensified it, the still frame I highlighted is visible for a fraction of a second.

I first wondered if it could be a moth because of it's irregular flight path or something but after reviewing it, I would say that is unlikely.

Camera movement could account for the track it takes.

As I said before, I think it looks like a plane with three landing lights, probably too far away to be heard. I think the "changing from 2 to 3 lights" could be due to changes in the point-of-view as the plane moves, sometimes obscuring one of the three landing lights either behind other parts of the plane.

Also, if by "unusual behavior" you mean the seemingly erratic movement, I think that could mainly be due to camera movements (camera shake, plus the camera operator moving around trying to keep the object in frame.

Hi Soylent Green Is People. I could go with that, but I guess unless you see it for yourself you can never be sure.

The new video is rather strange though and the still frame is bizarre to say the least. I have intensified the light but this appeared on the original before I worked on it.

Wow! Thank you so much for doing that.
Thats crazy.
There's definitely camera movement, I never hold still, I'm just scanning the sky.
Again, I didnt see anything.
I dont know what to say, just amazing!

Hi Soylent Green!

"the camera operator moving around trying to keep the object in frame. "
(sorry, I dont know how to quote properly)

I was moving the camera, yes, but not to keep the object in frame, because I did not see an object! I didnt see anything, not with my eyes and not on my camera!

And if it were landing lights on a plane, it would have had to land somewhere and there is no airport around where it could have landed.

I sometimes see planes fly at night, passing by very high but I can see the strobe lights flashing.

Next time I see a plane at night I will try to film that to compare and I will also try to figure out a way to keep the camera steady.

Thanks for your comment!

just to clarify, the second gif kennyb72 made for me is from a different video. All there was to see is 10 seconds of a tiny flickering thing. I filmed it at the same location (my bathroom window) about six months after I filmed the first one. It's hard to see on the original but if anybody cares, I put it on youtube too
