Okay, so first let me say a couple things. I think all this hype about Jade Helm is a bunch of hype. I don't fall for the things we are being fed concerning it, and have only been in one Jade Helm thread, and found it utterly ridiculous. (Not to be rude to any of you who are scared of it.. just saying)

Now, I am on ATS, have been for a few years, discuss politics and social issues as well as contribute in the art forum here.

So.. there is that.

However, I keep having dreams.. they do change somewhat from one dream to the next.. and sometimes I will go a period of time without having the dream, only to start having them again. What is consistent in all the dreams is they all consist of a city that I am in, going into a lock down.. and people within the city not being allowed to leave..

In all these dreams I and my husband are having to be sneaky to get out. We always do get out of the city.. but its crazy difficult and police and such are everywhere trying to herd people and keep anyone from leaving.

Now, my husband and I are no longer living in any city - yet - I am still having the dreams.

Had one again last night, in the dream I was throwing together bug out bags trying to get us together and out of the house right before the city went into a lockdown mode. There was a helicopter circling over our house, in my dream, and I heard the pilot or one of the people in the helicopter say that there was 15 minutes before the police got there. (to prevent us from leaving the city)

(As a beside, I don't know why I heard what the helicopter pilot said to someone else in the helicopter... he wasn't speaking through a bullhorn.. its was just one of those magical dream things where you can hear stuff you wouldn't normally be able to hear)

Apparently the 15 minutes left seemed important, and I cannot get it out of my head all day.

Anyway.. anyone else having weird dreams like this about people in cities not being able to leave the city... - who wouldn't normally be paranoid about such an occurrence?

I am just curious if its just me or if others too?

Or perhaps psychologically speaking does recurring dreams of narrowly escaping mass imprisonment have some kind of reasoning? Because I have had them on and off for about 3 or 4 years now.

I post this now, because that 15 minutes left is kind of bothering me...

Buy more food, stack it high.

Have a place to go out of the city.

Really. I am not joking.

That is what is weirdest of all really... I don't live in the city or even any town anymore.. yet I am still having these dreams..

But yeah.. that is a definite possibility too. Food.. canned.

Reoccurring dreams are a tricky subject, I have had a few that have followed me from child hood to this very day. As for analyzing yours. It could be your subconscious telling you to be prepared to get out of a sticky situation, e.g a bad work situation, a toxic relationship, or if you are involved in any shady business something along those lines. Not to discount the possibility that it is a pre cognitive dream as some of my reoccurring dreams have been proven to be.

My best suggestion without knowing more about you would be to take a hard look at your life and see if it fits if you come up with nothing, stay the F out of the city and if life should take you back to one be prepared for the day you might have to run.

Best wishes and kind regards crimson.

The shadiest business I am involved with is sitting on my front porch.. which is decidedly shady but in a good way.. no toxic relationship, and these dreams began prior to my getting a husband, its just that back then the husband in my dream had no face.. now he has a face..

and no, sadly I have no bad work situation either.... I am employing hope in that regard however.

Thanks for your advice though... I will keep it in mind for sure.

Well I'm glad to hear that your front porch is shaded they are nicer that way ha ha ha.

First s disclaimer: the following statement is based off of personal experience with non verifiable proof and should be taken with whatever you may like. ( I recommend rum and oj)

Pre cognitive dreams have been a matter of fact in my life from early child hood up till the present, trying to understand which dreams will or will not prove to be "truthful" is a mind breaking experience. I personally have experienced pre cog dreams that very from the mundane to the OMG WTF variety. Some have had a profound effect on my life. Varying from dreams as a youth of a vehicle my dad would purchase 3 years after the fact, to dreams of my current wife 2 years prior to ever seeing her and while with the girl I thought I was going to marry and of a radical and at the time unthinkable job change and a day that could of ruined my life.

All of them have come true though not always exactly as the dream portrayed them.

Understanding the dream at the time of the dream is a mystery wrapped in a riddle inside Pandora's box. What is important is knowing when the time comes how things worked in your dream so as to be able to use them to reach the preferred out come.
Prophecy is a tool best used with a dose of skepticism and a whole lot of respect.

As always with kind regards and we'll wishes crimson

Well the doom porn thing regarding the collapse of civilization has been around for thousands of years but in the past 15 + years there has been a concentration of it with 1999 and the computer dates issue and 2012 with people worrying about some universal cycle that would slap us down. And of course the growth of the internet means theories of our impending doom as easily and instantly accessible. Plus there has been the growth of prepper culture. Oh, and then there is the prophecy of the last pope. So anyway who know if we are heading toward a precipice or if things will go on as normal (SNAFU normal, that is)
I, too, had a dream about Jade Helm coming to kill everyone in my parent's neighborhood and we all had to escape on foot into the forest. However, my latest theory is that asteroid that is supposed to hit us just as Jade Helm wraps up means that all those guys will be trained and on the ground to try to help or control during the chaos (assuming the asteroid happens and that isn't just more made-up doom porn).

I have had prophetic dreams before, quite a few actually and have always known when they were prophetic. These are different or becoming different because they both change and recur. None of the others have ever changed, outside of a new view timeline-wise. And those changes in these particular dreams made me feel they might be less premonition and rather more normal dream.

I will say thank you - I needed to hear what you said, it helped me to sit and go back through all of these particular dreams and look at them from a different angle. I realize exactly what they are now.

Thank you very much.

I know a prophetess who is predicting a stock market crash. By my calculations, that places the crash on 11/19/2015, but for some reason, the date 7/15/2015 shows up too. That's when Jade Helm starts.

Here is the link to her dream, written on 4/9/2015. voiceofgoddotwordpressdotcomdotorg.wordpress.com...

She doesn't give dates, but I can determine those dates by counting the syllables in the text describing the dreams (not her commentaries).

The first part of the vision talks about Satan's strategy and is 98 syllables. Therefore, 4/9/2015+98 days is 7/15/2015, which is when Jade Helm begins.

The second part is about the stock market crash, which is 126 syllables. So, 7/15/2015+126 days is 11/19/2015.

This is the same method I use to map out the historical fulfillment of Bible prophecies in the Hebrew and Greek text. Notice how 98 and 126 are both multiples of 7. This is consistent in Bible psalms and prophecies.

So, that is what I watching for anyways. Your dream sounds disturbing.

Interesting.. I have lots of dreams as well. Some good some bad, mostly good and or strange. What im getting from this is that you're psyche is attached to 'the city' for some reason. There could be a dozen reasons as to why, only you would be able to decifer that, but, on the other hand it may be a symbol of 'letting go' of that which you have been long familiar with. possibly?

I've had city dreams one in particular but where a man with white hair wearing all white kept pointing to a this amazing city of lights in the near distance, saying repeatedly to me i was from this great city of lights over and over. Now i don't know why or what it may have meant or if it meant anything at all. But it does seem as though something is trying to awaken the inner part of humanity from this slumber we call 'reality'. As the maori and other tribes from the past often referred to this world as 'Dream Time'.

Would love to hear more dreams from you though. Thanks for posting!

You should learn to become lucid in your dreams. Then you can do anything you want, it's like having all the cheat codes turned on in a video game.

One trick is to carry around a card with a certain symbol (star, triangle, circle) on it. Every now and then (a few times a day) pull it out and look at it.

Eventually you'll get so used to do doing this over and over during the day you'll begin to do it in your dreams. The thing is, in your dreams the symbol won't be the same. This is how you'll know you're dreaming.

After that...well, then it's just learning how to remain calm enough not to wake up. It takes a lot of practice to maintain the lucid state in a dream.

I've had a pattern in my dreams too. We're always driving or otherwise in a vehicle of some kind and leaving something bad, real bad behind us.

In two we were heading to the sea/ocean were we had to go. In another, we were going to a field with a lamb.

In another dream, I was being held in a house by a dark man who was trying to persuade me to do something and then a white horse was taking me away in the same direction as in the other dreams, always the same direction.

i had recurring dreams like that - very vividly a few times a year - since the age of 15.

the 'security forces' were wearing light blue uniforms, paramilitary style i've never seen before.

there were checkpoints on local main roads in my town. there were night scenes of internment camps and trying to run for the fence in the same.

a lot of postapocalyptic urban scenes where i had to hide in abandoned buildings, armed and always running - this years before movies like "the Road" and such.

Thankfully these dreams stopped around 2011.

As to John Titor's predictions of a fascist state - well, they haven't come to pass, even if they were 4 years off!

You have told me that before, actually it was my reply to you about that that caused me to understand my dream - the one where I became saved as a result of.

You know where you are going, but those around you are asleep. I believe those two things are important in your dreams.

My husband and I talked yesterday and today about my dream, because he is always a key part of mine. he knows what is going on, and that we are short on time.. and simply doesn't do anything until the very last second. Keeps saying we have plenty of time... lol.. then waits for me to finish packing..(no offers to chip in or anything, he just puts his feet up and waits on me.. lol)

This is important in my dream he thinks, because he says timing is everything, and tells me to read the book of Judges.

As I haven't read judges yet.. I don't know if it will help you... but he is right on that one count. Timing is everything. You could reread that book perhaps, maybe it will help you as much as hubby thinks it will help me.

Who knows?

Heh, evil of me, but I convinced the husband that since our son was going to go to a private Christian school, he needed some instruction before he gets there. It's got us doing a short family devotion and prayer together every night before son's bed time.

He may not be awake and aware of the way things are headed although he's always willing to talk game theory and disaster scenarios with me and we do have some supplies laid in, but he ought to be regaining touch with his spiritual side.

I dream about bad things in my reoccurring dreams. For example, a reoccurring dream for me is going to an important job and forgetting things i need. Then i end up leaving the job site for awhile (as the job didnt start) and not being able to remember how to get back...then i start running but my legs dont move fast enough...like i am running really fast and only able to go a third of the speed. My legs are dragging not paralyzed but on the verge of paralysis. I run in a maze of cars, streets and buildings sometimes ending up in the same place and just before disaster, i ask myself (or think it in my dream) one last time - "what should you do, go home and get your stuff (there is not time to, pretend you are working and face the consequences later". Then i wake up.

I guess that is common though. It is a vivid dream and when i wake up i am like - "where am i?...oh, it was just a dream"...a dream within a dream.

Edit:

Whoops, hit post too soon. Sorry if this may go OT.

Just a round about way of saying not to put much stock in dreams and probably related to normal human anxiety. On the other hand some instances are more serious and may be medical problem like sleep paralysis, which is like a dream on steroid or a dream X1000.

That dream above happened last night so i still recall the details. Just random stuff like looking at a rubber wheel rolling along side of me and thinking, i am not getting anywhere...so i put my hand lightly on the wheel to feel its speed and heat. The feeling in my legs (in my dream) is not good.

I dont think dreams are predictive though. I have dreamed of catastrophes like a planet crashing into the earth but that is only because i watch doom and gloom videos and it is still in my psyche when i go to sleep.

Dreaming can be very profound but it really is only based on what we make of reality and not reality. I am also (actually was for around 20 years and may have stopped) plagued by sleep paralysis. There i would have multiple bouts of SP, one after another, so often times i would just not sleep because i will only wake up a few minutes later after an attack. That is why to me dreams are more of an annoyance and wish i could just turn that off...seriously, i would rather see nothing in my dreams and just sleep.
