How do you explain as skepticOverlord (whom i disagree with on many things) suggested that despite building 7 on 9/11, no one is doing anything about it.

How do you explain that awesome Apathy present in US as well as other western countries.

What if through food/water/air we are drugged with say low dose of lithium or other substances that makes us not just slightly stupid but low on initiative.

This is a double edge sword, because drugged population also makes for crappy economic output, though the main culprit is debt.

It just makes me wonder how come everything is water under the bridge for majority of people.

Please do not project. It's mainly the US which are apathetic and numbed by too much TV and food.

In the other western countries people still hit the street regularly when they want to massively protest against something.

Only Americans are to lazy/afraid to do it anymore (the last really big protests were against the Vietnam war).


I read all the times various excuse from the people here (they will shoot us! it won't change a thing!). Personally I believe it's just BS excuses since the rest of the world still do it regularly with different level of success.

The American culture is quite egotistical so people have lost the habit to gather and speak as one.

Why risk all that when the mechanisms you suggest fighting against control and provide all that.

We are a spoiled lot. And nobody wants to go back to farming with horses and cattle and chickens for sustinance on the family farm.

It does not have to be physical drugs that keep a population under control, it can be psychological. Never before in human history has the population been bombarded with so much information on tv and net that influences their beliefs and opinions. It is wonder people can think for themselves at all.

The only thing I can tell you for sure is that I'm very often intoxicated by the secretion of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and it's most probably an OGM version like the strain Lalvin EC-1118.

Protests rarely produce results short of lip service from whom you protest against. And then it is business as usual.

1) Find alternative water sources

2) Test your water for adulterants

3) Learn how to clean your water

We are spoiled in "the West", but lots of folk want to go back to farming with horses, keeping chickens and growing their own food and supplying their own power.
