Is anyone here psychic?

Hey, I think I am a psychic, but I don't know anyone who beleives me. Do any of you guys think you are psychic?And why or why not?

There are many different kinds of psychics. Some are good in one area, some in multiple areas... Which are you?

Telekinetic - able to move things with the mind
Electrokinetic - able to alter electrical devices
Pyrokinetic - start fires with the mind
Telepathic - speak mind to mind
Empathic - get impressions from others, but not quite telepathy
Clairvoyant - can see the future
Medium - can see disembodied spirits

etc. etc.

Myself, I've got a tidbit in each, and I mean a very small tidbit....with more ability in electrokinesis (lookup SLI phenomenon, or SLIder phenomenon if Google or Search). Most of the other areas are off and on flashes more than controlled use.

I am all clairvoyant . But the weird thing is I see the future through dreams and sometimes I get just feelings that something is going to happen.
Like I might think of my family getting into a car accident, and it ends up that they are almost hit. That kinda stuff. I wonder how I got these "powers". Sometimes, though, I think of them as things humans and animals have normally, but are too busy to notice them.

I too have had precognitive dreams in the past. Some good, some definitely not. I have no answers as to why these things happen, neither can I really change the outcomes.

For example, in 1982 I dreamed of a girl. This dream was so vivid that I actually asked my friends at college if they knew such a person. I even asked them to look out for her. About three months after the dream I met her. She was exactly as I had dreamed her to be. Now that was very spooky. Since then I have had many other dreams, but when I dream of death, I can only remember the feeling rather than the dream itself.

When I dream of anything precognitive, it usually happens between 3-6 months in my reckoning.

I knew you were going to ask this question, that's why I joined this board months ago. Now that you have asked the question I will answer with, nope, I am not psychic in the least.

im part clairvoyant due to i also can predict the future in my dreams like the time i dreamt i was going to be injured in a car accident and guess what 2 months later i was in a car accident and i had a broken hip and a broken arm

I've never really thought of myself as a psychic, but i do sometimes get sort of a feeling that something is going to happen. I don't usually have dreams, most of the time its just a feeling but i hardly ever get any specific details such as where or when

If you read this you'll see that i have had quite a few "feelings" recently which have actually happened

But as i don't get any specific details most people will probably just say its a coincidence or that one of those was bound to eventually happen

I am partialy Empathic, and I am also Precognitive, to a point, in said area I've had dreams that have come true, I also sometimes have memories that havent happened yet, I also have strong feelings about something, like I started getting really sick feeling and felt like something was very wrong, that was on the 25th of this month, I read about the disaster in SouthEast Asia that evening, strangely enough on September 8th-10th of 2001 I had this wonderful happy feeling, and when I heard about the towers in school I felt even better, of course I knew in my head I should be scared and upset, but I wasnt, just happy.

By the by I am not a terrorist, just to make that absolutely clear.

Yes I am a telepath. I dont consider myself one really, but I have had some startling results with remote viewing in the past.

I believe I am empathic and I tend to know things sometimes. Usually only dealing with myself or my family. Not world events. I had a well known psychic tell me I am a healer and that is my job in life. I don't know about all that, but it was very interesting

But I would not call myself psychic as in I can read minds or predict the future.

Most that truly are...are not very open about it ....also, most that are...usually are about things close to the heart...family, friends etc....it's not a controllable thing at all....if one "thinks" they are...they usually aren't

The only reason I know I am psionicly endowed, is because of the abilities,
I only write the truth, and when someone asks I tell them the honest truth (to the best of my knowledge.).

I believe we are all psychic to one degree or another, its just that most don't develop the skills they have or try to hide from them.

The night before columbia burned up while entering the atmosphere I dreamed I was trying to get everyone off of it. It was during reentry that I was pushing them out the door and they were floating to the ground with parachutes. I got up the next morning and it had been destroyed. I don't know why I dreamed that, I didn't even know a shuttle was up at the time.

At the same time, there are allot of fake psychics out there too. I used to earn money reading tarot cards for people who just couldn't wait for the future. If someone comes to a psychic they are worried about one of two things. Money or sex. Well, sex could also be a relationship but its basicly the same thing. I knew right away what they were going to ask about, even though I always told them to not reveal to me the question they were going to ask. Every single time they came back to me and said I was totally right on the money with what the cards told them. It's because they wanted to believe, I was a charlatan.

OK, sometimes people worried about their health, but very seldom. The only one who ever actually beat me kept her question a secret like I asked and then got disturbed as I read the cards. Her question was, "What is my middle name?" Hehehehehe......

Yes, psychic power exists. Just don't believe too much in the people who tell you they have it.

I think everybody is psychic to some extent, big or little. One day, perhaps millions of years from now, we'll all be able to bend spoons, hurl boulders, and predict the future. Won't that be a happy day? (Evolution Kicks Ass)

Yes we all are! Some are just more attuned to it than others. Much of our natural abilities begin to die out when we start school. We are told to "stop day dreaming", be logical, live in the real world....it begins to close of that part of the brain that holds these abilities.

im a little of most, no fire or electric though. Most of my precog is more on the medium end. Example, i was sitting at a stop light at a busy intersection, i heard my cousin, who had been dead for years, yell "go, just GO!" i hit the gas, and somehow made it through every vehicle crossing, the lady who was coming up behind me never hit her brakes, too busy looking in her mirror putting on makeup to see the red light. she blew the light, adn got nailed by a semi. dead at the scene. if i hadnt gone, me and 3 friends would be dead. Ive had many experiences similar to that. I have some other experiences with other psychics, and a few seances, if youre interested, send me a u2u. I personally believe we all have to one extent or another, its how we use it, and how in tune we are with ourselves.

I think Chinese psychic programs covertly used children from a very young age. They were purported to train psychics the same way as olympic athletes. Of course, all of their research is top secret, so the rest of us can't benefit.

I don't believe I am, but I also believe that people can confuse genuine psychic ability with more mundane phenomena such as:

1. inspired/educated guesswork
2. an ability to process current information and synthesize a good prediction, without necessarily understanding how they arrived at it.
3. gifted insight

In a world where some people have the ability to multiply large sums in their heads, we should not be surprised that there may be individuals who can do some higher order processing and make a prediction that, to others, seems out of the blue.

Having said all this, I am open minded I have heard enough in my lifetime to admit the possibility of genuine psychic powers.
