Please tell me people don't ACTUALLY belive we have a base (let alone multiple bases) on the moon...

is common sense and critical thinking totally foreign to the people who belive this nonsense?

Some of the abductees have been there, and so YES I DO! Only Bush isn't the builder, so decades before we went to the moon, and the moon has alot of infrastructure and tubing already in place.

That's one way of explaining away any info that the current establishment won't dare tell you. But you could take a more insightful view. You could suppose that as these men age and their lives grow short that they are tired of the coverups and denials and want the whole story of UFOs and ETs fleshed-out before they pass from any limelight that they have (or had), and they are pushing the envelope that they damned well know that exists. That would be exactly true in my case also even when, I have absolutely no standing in any area other than being a UFO abductee and immersed in the topic for all of my life, and I'm 77.

You must understand, a few of us remaining were there when it all started, when Sagan, for example was a hot and bothered UFO addict fresh with his Ph.D. until he discovered that his profession frowned on "hot and bother" UFO addicts. So many of you young hot shots think you know what is the reality...or you pretend or are told to act that way on public media. Regardless, you are in a game of denial and distraction whether you realize it or not.

Ah yes...abductees "stories"...the rock solid foundation of this totaly plausible theory.

WHy didnt i think about it. of course! Abductees! LMAO

Assumes serious tone yes..yes...the moon has lots of tubing and infrastructure in place. I hear the 10 pin bowling lanes from the 50s up there are great. Low gravity= great fun!

Yes, WE are the ones in denial. Good one.

Personally, im sick to death of the powers that be hiding evidence of pink, gold pooping unicorns! The people have a right to know. And im old enough to remember Stephen Hawking being fanatical about them, until "they" uppressed his open mind. Unfortunately, like Sagan, he is unable to verify or deny this...so its got to be true. Im someone on the internet and i said it. Case closed.

Can you prove we dont? What critical thinking is that? The US military has 25x the budget NASA does. I dont know that we have a base but a dont know we dont either. Stratigically it makes perfect sense. The base also does not have to have people on it. It can be all drone and robotic.

The private sector is close to being able to not only go to the moon but mars. You can assume with all the talent and money the defense industry has they are much farther along.

It cant be proven or disproven right? So people having philosophical discussions on a conspiracy message board bother you? Maybe you should go to skeptic board. Then i can come tell you you cant disprove there are aliens or secret military bases.

To me its like the athiest shouting an opinion about god even though they must go on faith there is no god. You cant prove or disprove so unless you are open to either you are really just going on faith or personal intuition.

Not really no. Its a discussion board not a peer reviewed science journal

Also what is the fantastical claim? That its a massive strategic post to have equiptment on the moon? We have dropped rovers and scientific equiptment on much further destinations. You are telling me its outrageous to assume the millitary has done the same to the moon?

To assume that the military have installed bases on the moon without us knowing?

yes its absured. The world is full of millions of amateur astronomers, radio enthusiasts etc....we would know.

Are you also suggesting that the US government had gone to the other governmenst that have had or have sats circling the moon and said "hey, we just build a military complex on the mooon...dont tell anyone ok guys!?..THAAANKS!"

Uh? Thats your answer? What sats by the way? And yes goverments do colloborate all the time with allies about secret millitary opps.

How did they build any of the spy equiptment in space and defence systems? How come the public and amateur astronomers dont know what mitary tech is in our own orbit? A lot of it is disguised. Furthermore, the miltary has access to tech far beyond public knowledge. Usually a decade or so. There are plenty of stealth techs the public does know about. Imagine the ones we dont.

How do you know we havent sent in weapons systems that were mobile once landed? The moon has obvious strategic importance as a relay, and warning system.

Are you aware of how many telescopes the military has? A lot of them point toward earth for surveilence. They are all much better then the hubble. Our knowledge of what the military does in space is very limited. Its very easy to mask things in space because radio interference and a lot of radiation and waves are already doing it periodically on equiptment outside our orbit. Its not very hard to take advatage of that, not to mention hack other peoples equiptment. You know like special forces do all the time on this planet. We have satelites just for doing that too.

HINT: putting things in orbit and hiding them are orders of magnitude easier than building things on the moon....

Use your common sense.

And no..its not easy to mask radio waves...anybody can pick anything up. Now, they might be encoded, but still...

Really you cant add interference to radiowaves? Hmm wonder how the military uses jammers then? You know radiation can interfere with radio waves right? You do understand you can run phasing to cancell them out. You do know we can hack satelites and feeds to correct?

Why do they have to build anything? They just have to land equiptment that is mobile and pick a spot thats hard to see. Are radio waves the only way to communicate?

Its common sense to me the strategic importance of space for any military. Definetely so with the closest solid object to oir planet. Its not likely we sent up bulldozers no. Could we land equiptment that can assemble itself. Most definetely.

I said could be, you should check out some of the documentaries on it though, they are really quite entertaining even if you don't buy into it.

I know exactly what you're talking about and you can check it yourself on google earth. I have the co-ordinates for a crazy base-looking structure and what looks to be JETS scattered all over with long artificial-looking, ridged structure things. Apollo 14 sites are hot zones for these anomalies or whatever you wish to call them. They look exactly like jets though I swear it's an exact silhouette. Oh but we're crazy, were imagining things everyone can see. LOL

I'm like you though, I'm not saying "Their out there, man" but I have seen the documentaries, and they really do make some awesome claims that can be checked yourself.(Might even start a thread about it)

My idea is though: What if "They're here, man" and this moon thing is a diversion.

yes, you can interefere with radio waves and everyone will know that you are. Where are the millions of amateur radio enthusiasts, astronomers, professional radio astronomers asking: "What the heck is that signal???"

Again, ill say it again. USE YOURE COMMON SENSE!

You make out as if there is no one in the whole world interested and involved in science outside of the lying government research labs.

As if every single person is sitting watching the bloody kardashians (as you guys like to say) every night.

The truth is there are million of people out every day and night looking at things, probing things, scannign for things, photographing things. Im one of them.

im not saying the govt cant or isnt hiding anything at all or never lies. of course they do. I loathe our governments. But with regards to the Op, bases on the moon, its absolutely ludicrous.

a reply to: 3danimator2014. But you havent used reason to argue it. And no they wont know its not a normal burst of radiation interfearing.

Find me a budget for space bigger than the US defence budget. Find me labs, contractors and scientists greater than the us government. Who do you think sucks up all those smart physicists?

You havent used reason to argue your point. Everyone one of your points has a counter that is just as reasonable.

Again its common sense we would use the moon as a strategic outpost. Its actually more ludicrous to not do so.

Are there bulldozers and skyscrapers no but can we land equiptment with drones and robotics uh yeah. We do it all the time. Can we hide doing it. Yes we can especially if you spend billions on it.
